Hi, There's a post 9 March 2010 in the technical section, suggests re soldering pin 501 on the circuit board on the back of the clock. I have also read something, a good little article/ posting in the past on the web but can't remember where, with pics showing how to remove the clock and pics of resoldering dodgy connections on the back of the clock, remember it was a half hour job maximum. Will try to find the link sometime ( but don't hold your breath for it). Hope this helps , if your handy with a soldering iron I am sure you will sort it. Cheers
