  1. not sure about the 07's but a fuel pump upgrade is usually advised for classics on top of that list.
  2. 01324 812 131 Chris.
  3. Gus, do you mean your getting them seriously rolled out, or just a few mm? If the latter then you'd probably want them ground, rather than rolled? less risk of damagin the paintwork etc. Its just that I got my arches ground back and sealed by the bodyshop next to hypertech, and he did a bang on job for not much (can't remember how much!?) He might be able to help you and is just next door to ya!
  4. Just as well! Na it's just I said I was interested on the first page.
  5. I'm out for just now guys. Cheers, Chris.
  6. i've never actually been to crail yet, got it in my mind as a car breaker.. i suppose just due to the launch and not warming up the gearbox before stressing it etc. I thought at least at knockers you can go at your own pace and let everything warm up and cool down properly, no? Cheers, Chris
  7. hm.. possibly! I haven't actually done a halluva lot that would affect the map since it was done in may 07, but if the dates are right, I might fit a couple of things and come along. Cheers, Chris.
  8. none of my friends understand the car thing, so do get ribbed quite a bit. usually just explain to them how much fun it is. generally though, nobody really cares, people get bored when I talk about it. I sometimes park the car round the corner and walk the rest of the way when I'm meeting new work people. haha.
  9. Cheers chris, see you at knockers!.. flying past me, no doubt. ha, yeah.. I might have to stay out on my own next time.. see if that helps my jinx. will you be taking yours round? did you take it to crail recently? KH should be kinder to your car than crail.
  10. Yes peter, hopefully I'll not be working when the next SIDC day is on. And hopefully (very hopefully) I don't smash a 3rd gearbox in a row. Definately selling time in that case. Cheers dude. Yeah! ha - I thought that was pretty . So if anyone wants to buyone, see him for details!
  11. yes I saw that he sprinkled a sackload of magic dust over your beast. I didn't quite know what everything was for when I saw your car, but It looks hella flash, and I hear its just the thing when going up hills quickly v cool.
  12. why can't you drive the scooby to work?
  13. I sure am jim!! I think steve was pretty happy with his work too by all accounts. Yeah for sure, a whole tank, started with half, filled up in livi and have arrived home with half. Was in west lothian, then east lothian. East was better by far, also it was later so the roads were empty.
  14. woops, sorry for confusion, I should have posted this under my new username:: Ha! is 6 hrs too long?! I could definately have done it sooner. Cheers mate, so do I.
  15. amazing neil.. how much photoshop have you done on them just out of interest? were thoes windows blue like that naturally?
  16. how do they feel mate? can you compare them to any other coilies? Thinkin about some coilover options myself, but very very reluctant cos of Edinburgh roads.
  17. Hi, If anyone knows where I could find out more about the film, please drop us a PM! Cheers, Chris.
  18. i didn't say you should change your name because nobody else had purchased it. ..Say it, I don't even understand it but it says "welcome to scottish scoobies" on your website?
  19. phil is right, the same arguments coming up in circle fashion, but .. with respect .. there is absolutely no way conner didn't notice that this forum is called scottish scoobies, its written everywhere! (if you come in through SIDC, then you have to click on 'scottish scoobies' to get here. When considering what to call your forum you must've researched your options? To try and make us believe you have independantly come up with the same name is v patronising, ..when you buy a domain it would have told you that .co.uk etc was taken.. that didn't make you wonder? The gentlemanly thing would be to change your sites name dude - It seems obvious. Is there a reason this can't be done? From your attitude I guess the answer to this will be "because I shouldn't have to". pretty rude IYAM. If I started a forum at www.scottish-scoobies.co.uk, you imagine there would be no confusion? and it would be a fair thing to do?
  20. ha, like i say I'm no expert! *runs out to check tyres* Really scotty, that low?!?
  21. Yeah steve has to deal with a lot of mind-changing and bamboozlement when he's on the phone to me, so if he looked confused and impatient, then that was me on the phone! ha. he's a good man.
  22. Yeah, I'm told the 6spd should be good for 600hp... but then, the ones i had were supposed to be good for 350.. ..and nuh. yeah talking about tempting fate, i don't wanna either. I think its gonna take me a while to trust the drivetrain even after this upgrade. Its on its last warning.
  23. ahem, yeah... not as much as it would cost breaking another standard one THEN upgrading! hehe. Work is alright at the minute so i'm spending it quickly before I'm skint again.
  24. rumbled.. damn almost got away with it. i think i left my balaclava on your driveway its black with 3 face holes in - i'll need it back for when i'm upgrading the suspension definately going back on track as soon as, nae point otherwise. you'll be there on track next sidc day too thoguh ay steve!
  25. have you considered an s2000?
