Cracking weekend Dave & defo be up for the next one, I think the balance of driving & resting up was just right & because of the location the option was there to either go hairing off round the island or take it easy, Mag isn't into the more progressive driving & I got a few oohhs & ahhhs from the passenger seat but I compromised & missed out on a couple of the runs. Wev'e had a bit of a stessful time lately so we really enjoyed the break & I managed to get some driving in. As I said before it was great to catch up with friends old & new & have a few Cathy (midnight 21) did offer to take Mag to Portree so i could go daft but Mag says you drive as fast & as safely of course as the rest of the crowd Only down side was the indian & how the bill turned out but a big from me & Mag Bobby

Friendly Cheap Tyre Supplier In Central Scotland?
bobbyc replied to Rheid's topic in Scottish Scoobies
I always use Jim Dickson or Skidz as they take a wee bit more care with your alloys when they are changing the tyres -
Aye we had to pull right over for the recovery wagon as well. The only other muppit we ran into over the weekend was coming down through glencoe a guy in a merc insisted on drifting into the middle of the road everytime we tried to overtake what is it with these people.

Alloys Flaking Is This Covered Under Warranty
bobbyc replied to mctwistuk's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Amazingly they hadn't been kerbed, i suspect mine got chipped to bits when we came out from the Mcrae gathering & the polis directed us down a country road newly tarred with millions of loose chippings, you just cringed all the way along it. -

Sorry Andrew no pics mate the garage have to take their own for warranty claims, but they were flaking & heavily chipped on the both sides of the spokes, center caps were very poor as well so I got new center cap badges made at http://www.domedbadge.co.uk/ cars only covered 7000 mls Bobby -
Alloys Flaking Is This Covered Under Warranty
bobbyc replied to mctwistuk's topic in Scottish Scoobies
I got mine replaced under warranty two weeks ago at Grieves, Charlie photographed the flaking wheels & sent off a warranty claim to Subaru, got them changed the following week. Dunc at Hypertech is waiting on replacements as well due to flaking. -

-
I always say you learn something new every day need to remember that one
-
Double checked with Andy F the answer is no, it would have to be polished & ported & it might just make it but you really need to go up to VF34 / VF35 which is good for 340 - 350 if you ever wanted to go that far. Bobby
-
Thats the one, fits OK with a bit of juggling & one small bracket adjustment
-
Al If I remember correctly I'm sure it's a TD04 thats fitted to the GB207, need the uprated 255ltr/hr fuel pump about £85 - £95 & the injectors that are fitted are the STI ones good for 350bhp, as Welsho says better getting the intercooler for safety margins, If you contact Carl at POWERSTATION Northway Trading Estate Northway Lane Tewkesbury Gloucestershire GL20 8JH tel: 01684 296675 He usually has JDM STI TMIC on the shelf removed from delivery milage cars prior to getting modded naxt door at Litchfield, you might have to pay around the £300 mark but they are genuine new parts & they cost more than twice that from the stealers, you will also need to get the undertray & rubber seal to get the full benefit & direct the full flow of air across the face of the new intercooler, & then brakes & a map even more ££££££sssssss no credit card maxed out, wife moanin like F*** great fun this modding carry on Bobby
