Hi Iain No I have a sports cat Mapped to 1.4 bar and watched the boost gauge accelerating hard in 3rd to 4th hits 1.4 bar then drops down. But that said i don't know if the previous owner had the wastegate done. Chris

Tam, I've went the same route as you and I never had a prob with boost creep. So you might be lucky. See when you fitted the injectors did you put the rubber seat in for the injectors Chris

Thanks for the reply's. I have an sti scoop with a wrx undertray modified to take advantage of the bigger scoop. But sure i read somewhere that most of the air will go to the back of the intercooler, But I could put another plate on the undertray so air would go to the front aswell ie be more efficient. Could someone tell me if this is correct. I can see what you mean by the safety margins welsho so thanks for that.

Need some advice, Got a 55 plate blobeye wrx and it's time to mod. Can someone tell me what a newage intercooler is good for power wise looked at the Andy Forrest web site and on the newage he dosen't list the sti intercooler till you go for the 20G turbo. These are my plans VF35 turbo, pink injectors sportscat fuel pump etc. But basically keep the wrx intercooler has anyone else done this route. I looked at previous posts and found one by cal who done the same but without the injectors his power was what i'm looking for but will i get a little more using the pinks. And will i need to uprate my brakes. I've done the whiteline rollbars drop links and anti lift kit. Braided brake hoses and ebc red stuff pads and 5.1 brake fluid.

I have a MY05 wrx and fitted an sti8 bonnet scoop and modified the undertray. Now i've noticed that when your going 80mph or so you can see the bonnet starting to lift from the wing alignment. Is this common or if there's a fix what is it.

This is my first post, But back to alarms never new there was so much to an alarm. The bottom line is do people really walking past a car with an alarm going off really care I don't think they do.
