  1. As most of you are aware Hypertech are hosting a charity RR day on the 14th June 2009. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=127908 Obviously Duncan and the team will all be busy sorting out the garage side of the day but with SIDC, MLR and the Skyline Clubs all turning up the place will be pretty busy. SIDC being such a charitable community I suggest we could probably round-up a couple of helpers to assist with parking and getting the cars for the RR arranged. The majority of help will be needed before the Dyno runs as most people will arrive before the start. Don't worry your not going to be stuck directing traffic all day. I will post further details closer to the time but an indication of volunteers numbers would be good. 1. STI Pretender 2. Grant (STI Pretender's friend) 3. wrx kenny 4. BobbyC (Robert i'll be there all day mate from early doors) Thanks in advance for your help. Robert Should point out anything to do with cars taking part PM or talk to PaulC555 as he is sorting this out.
  2. I didn't think noise would matter at you age lol just switch the hearing aid off sorry Kev couln't resist
  3. Chris if you've an Idea where you want to take the STI power wise it's worth a face to face visit to Dunc / Hypertech, Stevie Whitson or AWD Perth, & find out all the in's & out's, you won't save much ££££sss wise trying to source consumables like spark plugs mate, they have these on the shelve & will give you club discount, if your not going to track the car don't go mental.
  4. It's all been said before I'm lucky that Hypertech is on my doorstep, Dunc & the team has looked after my cars for years & does a top job , In saying that as far as Mag is concerned Hypertech is a sweary word in my house & only means one thing more ££££££££££££'sssss Some women just don't understand Only kidding she really doesn't bother just never say no when it comes to decorating or modding the hoose Bobby
  5. Well done John & everyone that got involved looks like you all had a cracking weekend, Enjoyed looking through the photo's there are some great shots, hopefully next year I won't be night shift weekend.
  6. I use both Hypertech & Grieves as the others have said as long as genuine parts are used there are no issues! Then again I can't have much left on mine that would be covered by a warranty Have faith it's a Subaru keeep it oiled & watered & it will last forever
  7. Oh yeeeeeesssss, don't know if I'll get away with spending too much on this one & OT is a bit scarce just now, George is going to waxoil it for me once I get the wheel arches painted white, If I upgrade the GB front brakes the two pots that come off it should fit the RA, need to replace the rusted screws in the fog light covers, had to drill them out tonight & re-tap the holes but theyre ready to go back all shiney, Car got gutted inside & out today & it's absolutely gleaming for it's age, need a fuel filter & bollock the engine bay, ripped out the old speakers Gaz will get some from Halfrauds to fill the holes as long as they look good don't care if they work or not & I think thats about it for now.
  8. Might need your help on a wee bit of detailing when you can fit me in Mike

Well It's official Bobby two scoobs Gav dropped the RA off tonight & I'm well pleased with it, been out for a wee run & it drives really well, Settled for N555 MGT to keep Mag sweet for spending more cash on subarus but hey ho Got a few plans for it to get it top line but it won't take much it must be one of the cleanest examples around Will get some more pics up tomorro when it's daylight
  12. Great day both on & off the track, there were pleanty of scoobies to drool over & it was good to catch up with everyone, The only down side for me was getting a phone call during prize giving to say my dad had escaped from his home, luckily my sister in law was passing through Camelon & saw him running along the main street, convict 99 re-captured safe & sound. Apparently he decided to go for a walk & climbed the wall, escape from Alcatraz, I'm now but there was a moment of panic. Thanks to Paul C for organising our stand & to everyone who took part, Bobby
  13. I get ribbed all the time at work whats an old git like you want a scooby for Some people just can't hide the green stuff, others would rather p**s their cash against the wall I've had some form of scooby for the last 14 years, I enjoy the cars, the banter, the club runs & meets each to thier own My dads in a home with dementia & it costs £656 a week because he was carefull & has some savings so I'm going to waste all my hard earned cash on scoobies & moddin because I feel like it!!!
  14. Argghh Yes Good spec & a bit different I quite like that Imy

  22. Well done lads glad the weather was better for you today I've never been so wet & cold for a long time, Pics are looking good See you all next Sunday at time attack
  23. Looking the dogs danglies hope you enjoy them, mine had it's first real test up at Skye last weekend and the car is well planted & handles really well set at 15 rear & 17 front, just be wary of where you take it with the ride height it's abot 35-40mm lower
  24. That was the wettest coldest day ever, but we had a good laugh & the banter was top notch as always, Hope you get a better day today
  25. A lot of these bigger power cars spend the majority of their time getting money spent repairing them cause they are broken, The horsepower heroes day is all about taking part for charity & it will be the combined horsepower of each group, Duncs dyno is not the most forgiving when it comes to peoples claimed figures & I've seen many dissapointed faces, where as a lot of scoobs taking part have been on this dyno. I think we'll do OK
