  1. Agree it was a bit poor, though there were some laughs. They've only went post 9pm so they can draw nobs any time they fancy. It doesn't need that I don't think.
  2. And quick!
  3. Cheers again, Imy too. How important is a knock sensor: does the engine's own ECU not have knock sensors? Are they not as good? Is it only essential after a certain power level? Or is it just added protection?
  4. So only red or constant ambers would cause you to investigate further? Are there different makes? What cost? How necessary? Questions, questions, questions!
  5. Thanks Colin. The progressive lights, again I presume progressive, they indicate levels of det? Is your car run so near the limit that it can light one regularly or how many lights is a problem? Sorry for questions but this crap forum needs to be used for something
  6. I presume the knock link 'listens' for detonation? Or maybe I'm well wrong. Anyone care to give an explanation, reason for having, circumstances it would detect and obviously problems it would prevent?
  7. Eau rouge!(sp?) Lucky you.

  16. 1) V power is best, think you must actually, I never use anything else 2) never been able to feel much effect of the diff 3) rev limit - adjustable on the dash - never rev mine to that as I don't need to
  17. No, this is the regular Glasgow Meet normally on the first Thursday of the month. Bishopbriggs was to be a new meet.

  19. Welcome! As mentioned above, Glasgow and Lanarkshire meets monthly, keep an eye on the events section. No runs in the dark but get along and introduce yourself, we're a friendly bunch. That'll get you prepared for sring when the runs start again(sounds painful ) Oh, one more thing mate, this isn't a telling off, it's advice: dnt use text speak on the forum, u'l get a bad row!
