  1. My MD321T gets mapped tomorrow so we'll see how it goes on my 2.0 with variable cams. It's interesting reading this thread about your mods when I've got a similar thing on the go. Keep up the good work.
  2. It's still fecking snowing. I hate snow now. My street got cleared at the weekend and finally was able to take the Skoda in without fear of digging 800yd tracks to get back out again. Got up this morning to find it all covered again by another half inch and had to slither to the top again, just made it too! Lesmahagow has had at least an inch overnight. It's snow funny noo! Went to Narnia at the weekend - Some of those icicles were 4 foot plus in length!! Phone pics, sorry. I'm sure it was Narnia!
  3. I'd check the ice big stuff, you're not a kid any more!
  4. I'm same Grant, have no sound deadening anywhere and can talk at 80mph, we'll need to compare!
  5. Have you tried your wing stiffi yet?
  6. Any progress on this?
  7. Grant, is it that bad that you can't talk? At 80mph on the motorway we can talk without too much trouble!
  8. You crawling barsteward Del, someone said you had a hatch too - I don't believe them! Seriously, nice car! Looking forward to seeing the mods in the coming weeks!
  9. what's mods?
  10. I've used this a lot recently and no issues, I tend to use TNT and so far all is good and very well priced!
  11. We've had more than an inch tonight again. We've got well over a foot of snow where it hasn't been touched since when, the 17th??
  12. -11 last night here at 1am, roads were just frozen slush and VERY slippy, or sleepy as Juha used to say to Mason.
  13. Thought I'd help you out there Derek. Here's one, this was around 10am - maybe a tea break? Here's another - maybe a toilet stop Another inappropriate way to fill a roadside salt box When this newbee gritter boy got back to the depot his boss was shocked at just how far he'd went to get his load off! If your going to have an off, they don't get much bigger than this (in a gritter anyway) "Just follow the white line Jimmy said!" And finally, the one that was going to do your street Del Boy Sorry about poor quality, only had these in real actual printed photys! Had to take them with camera to get on PC. I cleared two strips from my driveway to the top of the road this morning. It took me 1 and a half hours and not one cnut came out to help. But when I triumphantly drove me Skoda to the top of the hill the low life, spineless, sneaky b@st@rds weren't long in slinking out to work. They forget that Santa is watching! If you're off to Feb Del, you may find the @rse of your Transit is also 'off' - hope you cleaned it out!
  14. Someone with chop skills do Keira a wee photy? I like the OZ but would need to see a pic! Think white on silver wouldn't maybe be enough contrast?
  15. I'd stick with the four pots and refurb them. I wouldn't use any second hand sh!te that anybody 'says' is this and that. Buy new and be sure! If you find out they aren't up to the job when you up the power, then you can always change the damaged panels on the front of your car to Hawkeye ones when you crash and once you've rebuilt it everyone will think you have a new car too - everyone's a winner! Kenny On a more serious note, I'd refurb yours first. If you're not happy with them after the power hike then you have refurbed ones for sale which is a good Classic upgrade for someone I believe? You can then recoup some of your new brake outlay! Kenny: can I have my commission now please?
  16. I'd defo go for a Ninja II rear silencer. It's of the 'nice pipe' variety. It's a straight exit design, none of your bent jap crap here mate. Nice slash cut and not too big either. No fire damage burnt tip carry on either. Just an all round nice looking, sounds lovely, well made, quality mod for your car. Oh, and I'm selling mine Seriously though, it is a nice silencer and with a full decat sounds good too! Changing mine to a 3" system or I'd be keeping it on. A good panel filter will only help and I have a Forge VTA dump valve which sounds great and functions very well. Good luck with the mods!
  17. Yip, snow is very heavy in Lesmahagow!
  18. I was trying to say it was you who was the ned and you're not now, i.e. it was on your last car but not the Scoob! D'oh When I read back my post I knew it wasn't clear. But I laughed. If you can't laugh at yourself . . . .
  19. And could you not peel it off to use on your new car Paul?
  20. Bleeding it won't help, slipping could only be by pressure plate not clamping the disc to the flywheel. This could be faulty pressure plate, disc sticking on input shaft or something floating about which is periodically jamming the fingers of the pressure plate and not allowing it to return to the drive position. Surely if there was leaking of oil your last clutch would have been contaminated? Did you fit it yourself?
  21. 'Fraid not mate, engine mods begin Monday! See you then, I can't make the Harvester today.
  22. Looking good Phil, see you Thursday, or are you going tomorrow?
  23. Good to meet you Peter, top job for organising this again and lovely food too. Look forward to seeing this car of yours in the flesh, one day! Also thanks to Craig and Julie for dropping us off.
  24. Two posts the same. OOPS!
