  1. 1. Wrx kenny 2. badbaz - will be there at 1030 ready to press on for Perth
  2. I bought a Porsche from them 20 years ago. They were helpful enough, viewing, test drive etc, but as I remember it was: there is the car, take it or leave it. Turned out to be a good example in the end with no real hidden secrets. Can't be too bad if they are still going strong 20 years later. Good luck
  3. That would be a good idea Neil and Kenny's location sounds spot on! Is Bobby organising one this year or is he being a bit of an RS?
  4. Coming along nicely Paul
  5. Ok, since I've been badgered into this I'll just give a few bits of info and warnings....... If we do this then there will be 4 two poster ramps, 1 four poster ramp, a pit and plenty floor space available. Use of these will be entirely at your own risk. No one will operate machinery at any time without permission. Everything will be left clean and tidy at the end of the day. It'll be a fun day where those who are lacking in experience of all things mechanical can have a wee tinker with their cars. There will be NO engine swaps/clutch changes/turbo changes etc etc Oil changes, brake pad renewal and the like will be ok. Can also do brake tests, headlamp alignment, emission tests *cough cough This isn't a free for all or a chance to take the Mick, as Cathy says its a workshop for a bit of insight and learning. Cathy, you'll need to propose a date......
  6. Cathy, all you need to do is ask and ye shall be provided with the premises Start it in another thread
  7. Sure they weren't binding Kenny? Sorry Paul
  8. PF sell direct, worth a call?
  9. And Mr Fleming, what made you go for that combo, despite your overwhelming desire to spend £000s on APs? Davey, I run the same set up as Del, when I first plumped for them I was sceptical, but for braking and even more so repeated braking they are amazing. I also have HKS braided hoses on mine, and obviously dot5 fluid. On our summer runs we 'press on' and while others are on fire, or have lost their pedal, the PFs are just quietly 'tinging' away as they cool down Do it and never look back
  10. Doubt horsing them up will do any good lol The A/R/B brackets are only 8mm bolts, don't go mad - just use a 12/13mm spanner and make them tight with that (oil or grease the bolts before refitting, this will help to ensure they tighten properly and can be removed easily next time) The links are 10mm or 12mm thread, so 17mm or 19mm spanner again will ensure you won't break anything, nip them up well. I realise it's hard to judge how tight things go if you're not doing it all the time but if torque figures are available then they will be on Whiteline's website somewhere. Just don't break them
