  1. Rad comes out in 5 mins Paul, no ramp required and comes up the way, but replace now before you damage anything engine wise. Theoretically the rad could be repaired but if it's cracked there then where else - renew and rest easy
  2. I'd think that would be Subaru only so breaker or dealer - always worth checking the dealer as sometimes, some things aren't that expensive. But most of the time they are
  3. next one is 3rd March
  4. Get a replacement if you can, cheaper and less risk of damaged alloy removing old ones.
  5. Hell yeah, I like a laugh as much as the next one Paul, but where there's a chance you could be damaging your car beyond your wedding year's financial capabilities you need to be serious for a moment. Gaining a wife is sweet. Losing an engine is not!
  6. Gallons more like. Driver checks. Every day!! Levels, lights, tyres/wheels, mirrors. Thats every single day BEFORE you sit your butt in the car. Does anyone do it? Not really. You don't need to be mechanically minded to take sensible steps when you are concerned there is a problem. Prevention is better than cure. And cheaper
  7. FPMSL you drove it without checking first?? You can't be that paranoid ya fud!! Top header will be full, or half an inch down. Expansion bottle should have about 3-4 inches in it. It's marked min and max. Top header is important bit. At the end of the day, it's probably water on the rad just steaming off. Don't drive it without checking levels though!!!
  8. Have you checked the water levels (when cold) at the header tank, O/S top of engine, and also in the expansion tank, N/S of radiator?
  9. When Paul? lol MarkJHarris is on here from there mate
  10. YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  11. Or one of our very own in his Tesco tanker?
  12. Good idea Kenny From my point of view you could alternate the meets between Hillington and say the Showcase at Ballieston. I have no problem getting to Hillington especially with the new M74 but I always feel you are limited to heading west on the M8 from there, perhaps there are other options (the Tunnel excepted of course - it's a given!!). As for the days, see what the people want - you can't please them all Good luck chap - when's the first meet??
  13. Errrr Kenny, I'm not sure you've really got the RO concept right bud - on this site at least
  14. Ooooofffftttt Glyn, you could put a health warning on the thread FFS, just about brought my breaky back up!! Some good looking cars there (in the background )
