  1. Time: 17:25 to 18:15 (50 minutes long). When: Sunday 16th October on BBC 2 Scotland (Digital) Highlights from the second half of the 2011 Scottish Rally Championships, with John Beattie and Rhona MacLeod. All the thrills and spills from the rallies in Dumfries, Elgin, Wigtown and Perth, as David Bogie defends his title. I'll try remember to bounce this next weekend..
  2. Valve should be sepearat to the tyre so no new tyre required.. But sadly to fit new one will require the tyre to be removed.. and refitted. Hopefully you can find someone with some sympathy for the problem and do it for much cheapness!
  3. CCTV or sometimes even just a short range proximity alarm can ward people off.. Freind of mine had trouble with damage to his car, broken rear wiper and scratches. He fitted a proximity alarm to hsi car similar to that found on CLifford systems which squaks when you were near the car. Think it was acheapish system off ebay IIRC.. I seem to remember he had it send him an SMS whenever it was triggered too which was kind neat.. Anyways, never had any trouble after fitting it.. Wouldn't have though that woudl be much of a deterrant but ibviously was enough to stop his trouble.. But as baz said, if you can get it' CCTV, if cars not parked just outside you can get in car kits which start recording with motion detectors! I'd have no issues with fitting a CCTV system in or around my car if I was having trouble with it.. Heh! although just read your sig... try sleeping in the car
  4. Not just saying this because I'm baised.. But that Blob is soooo much sweeter looking than the evo... The front end of the evo looks liek it's swallowed a gobstopper or two Nice location for piccies!
  5. 120dB that's rediculously loud for an exhaust!
  6. Ahh V-Power BBQ's that brings me back
  7. Cool! I'd been wondering if he got it sold or ended upo selling it as parts. that was was and perhaps still is a monster! Only Impreza I've ever seen that looked like it woudl tear itself apart at the line..
  8. Anything less than a prison sentance is being way to lenient! Prison for 10 years and strung up by the testies. I'm a compassionate person but if he has kids and they ever need medical attention I kinda hope they suffer for any delayes the emergency service have trying to get to them. Clearly he doesn't want anyone to help them....
  9. Should be fine with the 915... That's what I was goign to use on mine before I decided to try the FK1000p.. Shouldn't do any harm and the Collonite is renowned for being hard stuff!
  10. I used FK1000p on mine last time round.. gave them a wash the other day and the dirt and dust just came right off.. Very impressed Also used it on the backbox as it's designed more for high temps and it's also spotless! Have used Natty's poor-boys wheel sealant in teh past.. Godo stuff but doesn't last as long and kept finding pink dots months later wher eI coudln't get it out of the wee tight spaces Check with the refurbers, I know for bodywork paint you shoudl wait at least a month or so before applyign wax to allow the paint to cure properly otherwise you can end up trapping in moisture!
  11. Yep.. just noticed the update... What a complete waste... Truely sickening!! Why.... really.....
  12. No news on the vehicle being found or recovered yet, but a 35 year old has been arrested over the incident http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-14984537
  13. Have a safe journey guys and remember to enjoy it! Just make sure to bring them all back shiny side up
  14. Good to see an old freind of mine has seen sense and ditched his Carerra 4s and gone back to an Impreza ! Yay!

  15. Might still be interested in a wee run out and about.. Either of the weekends wouls suit.. Preferably the one with the nice weather
  16. Nice one Davey! Get the Litchfield! It'll make Dave (Scooby222) sooooo jealous Hope you find something through in ABZ-shire I know a couple of folk in teh westhill area so will be sure to keep an eye out in if i'm ever through that way and probably unlikely but if you near any "news" on kinloss usage be sure to pass it on
  17. See this thread.. Had a post in there from me with Thule roof bars on a bugeye... Got them off eBay, but if your looking for new Halfords is you best bet.
  18. Been thinking about this one.. Was considering going along to an IAM organised day next year but this is MUCH cheaper.. but.. can't make a decision on whether to go down until a couple days before Also my track record with mobile SIDC events arent exacly great with the exception of the Heelin' Fling
  19. Now that I would like to see! Actually come to think of it... My bro has an RB320 and I have some RB style orange vinyl kickign around... ... Shame the car is 600 miles away...
  20. Love it! If you were to describe it to me I'd think you were mad! but it really suits the car! Well done for being brave
  21. Cool! My kinda project! (someday) Although I have been wondering if there is much you can do to the camper vans to imrpoove handling.. Anyone know if there's any suspension packages you can install on them that works?
  22. I've got the same on mine, been like that since I bought the car 4 years ago.. In low level sinlight it's liek looking through shattered glass just about... There's not really any way round it other than getting replaced.. I'm always one for wavign the safety card, but I've heard too many peopel get winscreens replaced and for them to be much more brittle than the one before or not have them installed proeprly. A guy at work has had 3 windscreens in 12 months because they kept chipping badly and needed replacing.. Ive had all shapes and sizes bounce of mine and it's not broken yet!.. So I've stuck with it, until it cracks or something.. I just drop the speed right down when it feels an issue low angle light is a issue regardless
  23. If you do change.. I can reccomend Philips VisionPlus/BLueVision (which are not really blue, they are white with blue filament, so durign the day when stiched off you can see a blueish colour at certain angles.) Osram Nightbreakers are very decent! Realisticalyl best you can do without switchign to HID's I've got either hte philips or osrams on both my cars and make a noticable difference over standard bulbs in the dark! I wouldn't do standard bulbs again unless I had to.. Admitedly they are nowhere near as cheap as standard bulbs http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/
  24. Lookin good What bulbs are you running on there? They look kinda 'creamy'.. Get a set of decent bright white bulbs, realyl sharpens up the look of the car Also nicer when drivign at night, but downside is you get noticable more glare off road signs and it reflects a brighter light back at you
  25. Woohoo! ANd no typos! Ya know what.. I don't actually know...
