  8. Nice looking "WRX" looks better in silver though, whats on the radar for next month then . "Scooby sports cell fix" prefer the maplin 23p fix myself hope its not to cold there
  9. Looking at some of your prices you are paying over the top for some items. I wouldnt pay £400 for wheel bearings I changed both front hubs on my RA with two low mileage newage hubs cost £80 and 1 hour to fit both. Also £400 for4 two front discs also seems excessive
  10. standard newage STI or classic uppipe as mentioned
  11. Thanks Chris will certainly be an interesting year
  12. Standard classic upipe on my 05 blobeye WRX which works just fine and cost £10
  13. Ciaran The classes for the Impreza's are pretty much determined by what you do to the car. if the car remains road legal and is not stripped out etc it would be entered in Class A3 but if you stripped it out and extensively modified it then it would probably run in the modified B3 class. That is a bit simplistic but where you place your car really depends on what you want to do to it. There are a lot of rule changes happening this year which will see some cars become inelligible for for A1, A2 and A3 due to the modifications carried out. The club you join is not necessarily determined by where you live but by what you want from your club. There are a number of excellent clubs in the central belt like East ayrshire car club, Monklands car club and Lothian car club. Further north you have ADMC, GAC and Caithness car club. As anyone who has competed in the championships will tell you this is not a cheap hobby. With travel costs, entry fees and accomodation costs never mind the cost of building and maintaining the car, helmet, race suit etc etc it is something that you need to properly research before diving in and pulling your car to bits. If you do decide to do it there are plenty of people around to help and advise
  14. Thanks and you
  15. That would be telling john
  16. Thanks Stephen must admit I did suffer a bit yesterday was a good night and good to have a chat. Good haul for Paul, Graham and Jennifer so well happy for them Couldnt have achieved anything over the last two years without the help and support from John St but shouldnt say anything in public as his head is far to big as it is also big thanks to John McG for constantly dropping everything to help out and Graham Bremner and Davie Reid for constant advice and ridicule in equal proportions also Alyn at AS Performance, Andy F and John at progrip for so much help Next year will be really interesting with the changes to the road car classes which hopefully will mean a much more open competition. Peter on the case And everyone is safe not out of the country yet well in Exeter, which is almost France but not working on planes so your safe to travel this week
  17. There should be a hose to the modine which is the water cooled oil cooler which the filter attaches to. One in and one out
  18. I have used C+C and Meercat and both are as good as each other
  19. Leave the exhaust as it is and change the back box for something quieter like a classic prodrive item
  20. http://www.asperformance.com/ Get most of my parts etc from Alyn at ASP very good prices on almost everything and knows the Impreza inside out
  21. I would keep it Neil they are not fetching any money at the minute and its not going to depreciate any more Or just come out and play with it next year ps prefer it with the standard scoop
  22. I have been getting some replacement fuel hose and extra unions from here http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/autofittings__W0QQ_armrsZ1 The original hose I had on the race car was from Pirtek and to be honest the quality is no where near as good as the stuff I got from the above ebay seller. My original unions were from the states, with various changes to the car I needed additional unions, but with the change in the dollar to pound exchange rate it made purchases from the states expensive. I have got quite a few now from the above, again and all are excellent quality equally as good as the ones I got from the states. Dont be put off by the fact he is in Hong Kong delivery is quick and I have not paid any duty on any of the orders I have placed (4 now). Hope this helps
  23. 600/650 Classic
  24. Yes there is but you have to specify the camber adustable rear top mounts when ordering. It is always better to adjust the camber at the top mounts if possile as this normally negates the need for camber bolts at the hub as these have a tendancy to move if you hit pot holes etc.
