  1. well the car wasn't there tonight. hope the owner got it back ok. quite funny though to see a large patch of uncut grass where it used to be.
  2. well it was still there today on my way home from work so i've called it in. hope the owner gets it back soon.
  3. Ok this is not the kind of post I want to be making but I hope the owner knows this car is there and is not currently looking for it. The car is currently on a verge at the side of the road and looks almost parked so I'm hopeing its just broken down. I don't want to post exact location in case some decide it would be an easy target. The car was a facelift T reg red classic with an after market (i think jun style) front splitter and an STI 6 rear spolier. It has after market gold wheels with prodrive center caps and has standard UK rear lights. Didn't look to damaged apart from stone chips on the splitter. The strange thing is the rear brakes are drums so I think it is actually a sport with the turbo bonnet etc... fitted to make it look like one. I passed it on the way to a mates earlier tonight but when it was still there 4 hours later on my way home i thought i would stop and check it. If anyone knows who this car belongs to let me know and I'll tell them the location. Also I don't know if I should call the police or not as if the owner does know its there and is just waiting on a tow truck I don't want to be giving them any extra hassel. Also if its been there that long tonight I'm sure someone else will already have notified them.
  4. was an most excellent day with most crispy results.... i've been getting pelters all day for my face and arms. in typical scottish fashion im now half red and half pale blue. was nice seeing all the cars and was good fun hanging around team subaru pits watching them work. seeing rcms change the complete suspension / brake setup on the gobstopper to fit the drag tyres was erm.... frightening actually! some great cars and great driving. shame andy's never seemed to hit the sweet spot however i'm sure he'll sort that now (sub 10 second runs and we're saying it was average... now thats standards for you) big thanks to grant for the run down and back. hope i didn't bug you to much mate and i recon we did the pr bit rather well considering the heat. also nice to meet a load of others some who i knew some i didn't. for reference i was the idiot cooking slowly in a mcrae gathering shirt with long hair and no hat... going to go put more aftersun now on and call it a night. defiantly going next year only this time i might prep a bit better. will be nice to see if team subaru can make it the hat trick.
  5. now now john. a quote like that again and it'll be your head i'm tempted to start smacking eye of the orange stripy tiger stands no chance seriously though no team is bigger than the league no matter how much they or some of there fans like to think so.
  6. Ah yes the humble Killie pie. Tastes great when I get them from the local bakers... tastes even better when im sitting in my seat!!!
  7. I love this place. so much better than the debates in work! yeah we all need one another to exist. I don't know about other teams but killie don't charge me any extra to go into the killie shop and buy tickets for away games. I had no idea the old firm did that to there own fans. financially yes i think that to begin with yeah the clubs would lose out on a bit of money if they didn't have rangers and celtic selling there tickets but for me its the principal that i don't agree with as it just opens far to big a can of worms. when do the negociations end on new rates each year... do other teams start doing it to one another. it just becomes a mess. it could end up with us adding 5% to ticket costs to cover the loss due to payments to old firm and then ultimatly in all of this the people who suffer most are me and you with more expensive tickets or more trouble trying to get them. i still think the idea is a non starter but we'll need to wait and see now i guess.
  8. Simple case of supply and demand. You both demand larger numbers of seats for our grounds and you tend to always fill them at the higher price. why would we reduce it when as you say we could use the income. no team in the history of football has requested a share of the away gate for a standard league season (cup games are a different matter) and it smacks of pure penny pinching on the old firms part as the other teams are struggeling enough as it is. I would love for celtic and rangers to refuse to stock allocation as then the dedicated away fans you have would go mental at having to contact each ground to get tickets rather than just buying them at the ticket office at an earlier home game. they wouldn't blame the other clubs. they would hold there own responsible. already supporters clubs are wondering how they will go around getting away allocations if there own team has no say in the ticket distribution. As much as we need the money your fans provide us you guys need other teams to play against just as much and its no use forcing them so close to the wall for what to the old firm is a relativly small sum of money for them compared to what it is to the rest of us. I am fed up of both of the old firm doing joint announcments like this which are purly for there benfit as they continually squeeze more and more on the rest of the spl which was originally founded to be of benefit to all its member teams.. not just the two biggest (who chose to veto everything which may give the rest of us a fair share of anything) I do appreciate what they bring to the league and there european expolots bennefiting the country etc... however its stupid moves like this one that make me wonder if we should have gone though with the OFGTF campaign from many years ago now.
  9. Read that in the record earlier. What a load of shíté from them. I don't see it affecting the away support two much though for someof the grounds if the old firm stopes selling our tickets. For example most of the away crowd at rugby park walk to the game when the old firm are in town so they can get there tickets locally anyway. True fans though from other areas who want to get to the game will always make sure they get there tickets anyway by calling rugby park etc... in advance and ordering there tickets. Yes it may cost Killie a bit more on postage but its a damn site better than 5% handeling fee and bowing to what is just a decision from 2 teams out of the 12. Or.... Rangers and Celtic could always drop the idea as its bloomin rediculus and not worth the hassle its going to cause...
  10. in short that link was plain evil! I love it nothing on there with anything less than a 4 figure price mind you but some really nice bits.
  11. excellent pics. 1st one is just stunning.
  12. i believe the really high figure in 2010 is for first year of registration (brand new cars) existing cars and the 2nd year onwards will be at the 400 rate. either way mate shame to see you sell the car. just get your self that track toy soon!!!
  13. i'd help ally but i'll be in banbury for that week. sure some of the others will help out.
  14. well im greateful that killie managed to hold on to Mehdi Taouil for another 3 seasons. don't know how JJ managed it but he did. sucks that we're now lookign for a striker already but I'm not to worried about the coming season.
  15. funnily enough i was watching that and thinking of you lol.
  16. any of our boys in blue care to help G.Mac with his second problem there? common mate get the 109 ron sauce in the machine and get it mapped and see if you can hit the 400 or blow it up trying.

  21. good luck with the map.
  22. lol. well my annual holiday is a week campaign near banbury and a festival which is budgeted imediatly after the one before. only this year i'll be doing it twice in august due to mcrae gathering.
  23. I was desperate for the map date to arrive!! The 10 days between decat and map were most interesting though... got 340 miles out the tank before the warning light came on due to me driving like i was back in my old micra again. believe that means i actually managed just above the 30 mpg mark for what will be the one and only time ever in the car. Well.... its not going to take much twisting of my arm to get me up there anytime soon 17th August looks like a good date as I might not be in the country for the one on the 3rd.
  24. at the time i did those early crail times nobody knew any better with that the car wasnt standard. just amazed that in all the times under the bonnet nobody noticed the vf-28 filling the hole where the td-04 should have been. not complaining mind you looking forward to the next trip up.
  25. cheers guys. power wise its now got a vf-28 turbo. 2.5 inch decat exhaust. sti 5 intercooler with samco hoses. uprated nkg plugs. walbro fuel pump and as much of shells finest v-power as it needs. all makes for a very happy owner. have also got an sti8 sytle scoop to force more air into the intercooler, braided brake lines (which i can now state are definatly worth it!!) and some whiteline handling mods although may be forced to get some more... after all that money was set aside for the car would be a shame not to spend it on it.
