  1. I'm thinking down the same lines as yourself Stephen. I've owned Scoobs for 8 years and although they are special cars I'm just not getting the same buzz out of them now. I've just bought a bike (new and different buzz) with the plan in the future to downsize the car and up-size the bike. Its really hard to give up on Scoobs with the noise, handling etc. and they seem to get under your skin. All I can say is take your time to think about your decision and find another hobby to fill the void if you do part with the car.
  2. Very nice bike indeed.
  3. I would check the weather first mate, looks like it will be snow!
  4. Yep me too. You will notice more now the winter has arrived.
  5. Dedicated as usual Mike. Really like the RB320s. Is it only Black cars you detail?
  6. Looks like you've found a good example mate. Enjoy.
  7. You can get this series on iTunes now.
  8. Both cars are looking great. Good work mate.
  9. I've had Toyo T1Rs for the last year and a half and like them in both the wet and dry. I think a lot is to do with pressures and with the right settings your confidence will come back. To be fair the roads are a tad greasy at the moment.
  10. Great video, amazing driver and VERY cool car! Nice find.
  11. Insurance cheaper than Road Tax! Whatever next??????? Great saving mate.
  12. Rather you than me mate. I'm feeling sick just watching that!
  13. Nice spec. Nice price! I'd be looking at something German for that about of money I'm afraid.
  14. Bit of a trek from Orkney!
  15. Depends how bad it is really. My engine was covered in 'transit' grease which was a bit of a nightmare to get off. Firstly cover the alternator, MAF sensor and battery terminals with cling film. Then I used Gunk (I believe Megs Super Degreaser is just as good), let it soak in and agitate with a brush if needed then use a Pressure Washer on a moderate pressure. A lot of people will be against using a PW but in over 3 years I have had no problems. Soak up excess water with a towel then run engine to dry completely. I then used Swissvax Motor Shine to protect and seal the engine bay.
  16. Nice looking Bugeye mate. I like either badges to be honest.
  17. If you want to disable the ultrasonics then turn the ignition to 'on' then press the alarm button and the dash LED will flash once. Vacate the car and arm the alarm as normal - the car lights will flash 8 times instead of 4 to let you know the alarm is set without the ultrasonics. After you disarm the alarm the ultrasonics will revert back to normal the next time you arm the alarm. Also if you have a Tracker you will have to tell them it is going on a ferry as the motion sensor will be triggered as the the car will be moving without the keys in the ignition.
  18. I'll agree with John on this one.
  19. Could have gave it a wee wash first mate! Cracking pics and car though.
  20. Totally out of order.
  21. Most people just don't know how to drive or don't have any road sense what so ever in this country. Using mobiles, fog lamps on when not needed, not using indicators etc., etc. I definitely think re-sitting the driving test every 10 years has got to be a good thing. Too many numpties on the road with bad habits.
  22. No way!!!! That's what you get for having a house right in the middle of a rally stage I suppose.
  23. I think they spoil a perfectly good car to be honest. Just my opinion though as I am not into graphics.
  24. Nice one. Come on Massa more like!
  25. Know nothing about suspension stuff but just wondering how you guys get away with having car parts in the house!
