Was at that bank today to fill out some forms and apparently its happening alot these days because of the 'credit crisis'! Its the total invasion of privacy that frightens me.

Got a call yesterday from my banks fraud department asking about transactions made by my card on that day. Turns out some low life bought a Stagecoach ticket for £6.60 then tried to fleece me of £754 then attempted £350 for some catalogue! Hats of to the bank for acting so quick but how do the scum bags get your details in the first place as I am always careful where I use my cards.

I agree with JW F1 is much better so far this season - i.e. overtaking! I also like Button/Brawn showing up the rest of the field.

Look harder then! I ride everyday and you won't believe the amount of idiots that try and pull out of junctions without paying enough attention. As road users we all have to look out for each other, its not a bike vs car thing. Taking my DAS was the best thing I've done and shows up how complacent we all get after driving for years.

As I'm new to bikes I'm testing the water with dealers for parts and knowledge. I recently done a service on the bike myself and bought the parts from MO. All the parts were in stock and found the guy (think it was one of the brothers) very helpful. Went to JA for tyres purely for price. I had noticed the chain had a couple of tight links in it and thought they would have picked up on it and advise me but they never. JA seems like its organised chaos and a bit back street garage but seems to be very busy. My bike is booked into MO for a new chain and sprockets so I'll see how they fair. Next year I'm aiming to buy a brand new GSX R and would like to stick with the dealer that I buy it from for the servicing and any warranty work etc. I prefer to stick with main dealers for OEM parts etc.

The WR1 is a nice Special Edition, check it over well then take it from there mate. As long as your getting a fair price for your car go for it.

A GB270 is a Special Edition - keep it special, leave the decals off.

IMO the speakers are more important than the stereo. The rear doors on a blob saloon are a bit of a nightmare for fitting larger speakers plus the positioning of them is not great. Go for a good set of components up front and a small amp. You will have to fit adaptors (MDF) to fit these and be careful that the windows can still pass the magnet when fitting larger speakers. If you are buying online go into Halfrauds first and have a listen to their selection. I have an Alpine HU thats made for iPod (displays artwork etc) so it has no CD player only radio and iPod/USB connection and Infinity speakers. I reckon with £500 you could a great professional install or DIY with your budget.
