  1. I used this lot 'clicky' last time I needed - quick delivery and ink's been ok
  2. About 5pm(ish) yesterday (Wed 6th July) a blue blob which looked mighty low followed me for a bit somewhere along the A811. I was in the black blob travelling between Doune and Drymen but being unfamiliar with the area was mainly keeping an eye on the satnav.
  3. Good figures mate , had mine done in April and still loving the results.
  4. Looking good mate and the the best colour too
  5. Cheers Dave, given the nature of the event I think they're happy for any support. Hope you can make it but if not I'll be setting about the place with a camera.
  6. Not sure yet, I'll be away and not back until late Saturday.
  7. Well, that's it membership just renewed. So, not going over old ground but after a few months lurking in the shadows the call of the scoob lured me back. So, in a bid to get right back into things I've signed myself up for a local Moray car show tomorrow. I know all very 11th hour but whether alone or otherwise SIDC will have representation. Anyone who can and wants to join me check this link to the events section.
  8. I'd recommend Clark Motorsport at Kintore, just north of Aberdeen on A96. They specialise in all things suspension related and I recently had the full 4 wheel alignment and geo done there. Worth a look anyway and I managed to negotiate discounted rates for SIDC members - Clark Motorsport - clicky
  9. I have these on and can't fault them. Graeme, Please excuse my ignorance if I should know but I'd be interested in your thoughts behind on running at higher pressures as I've got them at stock just now. Cheers, Pete
  10. Well done Blair for taking on the RO role, especially as I'm sure it's sometimes be seen as 'one of those things someone else does'. Obviously, I've know Dale a good while and we have supported each other here and there and attended each others meets etc. Hopefully we'll be able to cacth up at a meet sometime and compare notes
  11. I've had BC's on my car for 9 months now and really like them. I played about with the settings until I found ones that suited me. A bit softer than some others have and recommend but maybe the rural roads I drive on are a bit worse than elsewhere. Had a full 4 wheel alignment set up done with camber bolts and near Prodrive geo settings too which also helps. I say near Prodrive as I didn't go quite as far with the neg camber, somewhere between standard and Prodrive but on the Prodrive side if that makes sense.Anyhoo, I have few pic's of the car since they were fitted but here goes, should give an indication of ride height. Was lower but damaged my splitter and had to raise 10mm all round. This was when I was thinking of changing my wheels and put the stock ones back on. Then there was this once I changed my mind and I put the other wheels back on.
  12. Found this a while ago... Introducing the - Ford Mondeo Ghia Ecosse Ghia 1.8i 16V
  13. Welcome aboard and with a WRX in the best colour too
  14. Ok, that's the SIDC Moray Scoobies Facebook page up and running and linked to SIDC Scottish Scoobies. Local members can get the pride and joy psoted in our 'members cars' album, while others can have their's in the 'guest garage'. There is also an album for 'blasts from the past' where members can show their gone but not forgotten motors. Any issues with photo's just let me know and you can send them to me for posting. Thee are a few bits and pieces on there but if feel free to make suggestions as tbh I'm new to Facebook and haven't even got my own pages sorted out yet.
  15. Cheers dave, got full access now and will add a few bits and bobs over the next few days.
  16. While there may have been a negligible difference when used in the old WRX can't say I've noticed anything in the STi.
  17. I had T1R's on my previous bugeye and found they about half worn after a couple of years and about 22k miles. Suppose it would also depend on driving too.
  18. Having been a regular ebay user for over 6 years now you'd think I'd be used to those bloody ridiculous postage surcharges that accompany an otherwise innocuous postcode prefixed with IV, but no... Saw an item with £10 postage to UK mainland but what it really meant was mainland south of Perth. Even though it was only £18 to post to Northern Ireland they quoted me £25!!! Although, they said it was the couriers charge I moaned a bit and they finally offered to do it for £20 and so the deal was done. The item arrived today and only weighed 1.6kg - Royal Mail standard parcels would have been £4.41 to deliver it Anyhoo, rant over.
  19. Don't know if it just me as I don't use Facebook but I can't find it. Found you Dave but not the Moray Scoobs bit, so you may have to send me a paint by numbers way of finding it.
  20. Looking good But then for some reason I think all black scoobs should have it done... Saw you driving out of Elgin yesterday about midday but I was in the other car. Btw you gonna make it ot the meet this week?
  21. Nipped out again this afternoon, picked up some 'Wynns Clean Burn', switched the map to low boost and had another go.... FAIL!!! I've had a rake in the depths of the garage and found the original down pipe and 2nd cat pipe, so just need to throw them back on to gain the elusive golden certificate. Having gone through this palaver I've now got a few ideas of how to change/tweak the pipe arrangement to make it easier for next year.
  22. Had the car in for MOT this morning and it failed on the emissions! Car's generally fitted with full de-cat s/s system - headers, up-pipe, 3" downpipe, 3" centre and Prodrive backbox but I have a replacement centre pipe with 200 cel sports cat. This passed the test last year but not this time. CO max. 0.30% but it was running about 0.55% at first. After a run to heat the cat and a little 'discretion' with the rev range it managed to drop to between 0.40-0.50% and flickered under 0.40% a few times, with a momentary low of 0.35% that couldn't be beat. The ecu has a dual map so not sure whether high/low boost setting would have made a difference? So, looks like I'll need to buy a univeral cat and have it put alongside the sports cat to sort this out. Have read conflicting reviews of reducer addititves so not sure about that either.
