Especailly the sthe speed mountains people who don't over take when granny Micra-driver is holding everyone up and the non mergers in a lane-closure situation! GRRRRRR!

This may sound dim but what's the differance between an uppipe and a down pipe
The upipe is connected to one end of the turbo and the downpipe is connected to the other. The exhaust gasses coming from the engine pass through the uppipe on the way out and spin the turbine and then pass on through the turbo and through the down pipe, along the rest of your exhaust and out the back of the car

I S'pose i am a bit attatched to it john. I've had it 6 years now and it's never let me down, even on track or at crail.
Johnny.
There you go, that's that sorted

Now we're rolling, have to add phoney 'green' road tax to that too...
While we are on the "green" thing: protesters who protest at anything simply becasue they are associated with Greenpeace or an equally harmful/useless eco-warrior type body of nutters.

Hmmm, you just got me thinking... I wonder if I should upgrade to an STi. I could remove some of the tasty bits I have on my WRX like exhaust, COs, DEFIs, grills and seats and put them in the STi. Then a map from AndyF would bring the perfomance levels back up to what I have now. Trouble is, I'd be going from an 06 to an 07, so not much of a jump and I don't wnat to touch a hatch. Ah! But I have the internals done, so I'd lose that in favour of a stronger 6-speed... hmm swings and roundabouts...
All your cars are lovely, though I'm still thinking I prefer your white WRX (maybe) but great choice for the current car, I'm sure you will put your personal stamp on it soon enough. Sorry for the earlier out-pouring of my thoughts

hows about 1.00pm depart about 1.30 at the showcase that then gives us plenty of time to get there with traffic etc

Ok dokey, I'll be there around 1pm - DON'T leave without me!

Got a similar dilemma. Thinking about selling my car but i know it's not worth much now and is becoming a classic and getting less and less of them about.
So do i let it go for not much cash, trade it in or keep it and put it away?
Can't decide. although 1 thing i know it i certainly won't let it be scrapped.
Johnny
Keep it and put it away. You are not likely to get much in a trade in either and regardless of any monitary value, I'm sure it can't match the sentimenal value you have wrapped up in the car going by the "i certianly wont let it get scrapped" comment

hi m8 what about the showcase cinema at coatbridge , its right of the motorway .
kenny
Good idea, count me in for that, I dunno where I am goiing anyway

I thought the hatches have a problem with melting engines, or has this been cured now?
Its a problem with the map. Owners can take it back and get it corrected.
-
I went from a RB320 over to a STI hatch and can honestly say.........wow!!
I am by no means easy pleased & a perfectionist at heart and i am more than happy with the STI Hatch, even standard!!! wider track, longer wheel base, better interia & more practical [for me]
Go buy one, it's the way forward IMHO
I cannot belive you did that! I can't, I really really can't!!!!!

John,
Thanks for point this out - interesting.
Where are you at with the harnesses now?
You mention tilting the seats, have you done this yet?
Just my 2p on the harness mount, you gotta listen to these guys, if you haven't already, that one with the hole is gonna do zilch in even the slowest of crashes.
Bet you wish you never sent the link now buddy! LOL!
Catch ya soon
Barry
Baz, just have the harness on the drivers side with the same set up. And I havent tilted the seats back yet
Kinda lost interest in the car for the time being...
