  4. Ach do it, you know you want to!
  5. Hahahahaha!
  6. Cheers mate! What are those bits called by the way?
  7. I got a shot of some ramps for the car, but the car is too low to get all the way up them, but it got me up far enough using some blocks of wood to get my trolly jack under. I then jacked it up and put the axle stands where you can see them in the picture. Question is, is this safe so that neither I nor the car will be damaged? Thanks!
  8. Painted them masel mate
  9. I cycled from Paris to Germany in 91 and thought they were really friendly and charming - but not so much in the big cities.
  10. Cleaning is fine mate and it will take claybar as well, used it often on my rally ones. Vinyl would be a good option, but that will propably cost more than a respray if its a full wrap, or at least as much. The thing is, as you say, its reversible by removal and the vinyl wont do your paint any harm. Whatever you choose, matt black gets a big thumbs up from me especially wiht the right wheels and the other bits and bobs you mentioned like lowering etc. Look forward to seeing that.
  11. Yeah for sure. Have a great time mate
  12. LOL! Not in again till Thursday Dave, and that will be my last day for 7 yes SEVEN weeks WOO HOO!!!! You're more than welcome to drop by the hoose anytime for a close up
  13. Thanks mate, no probs - just track me down in the pit lane
  14. Oh yes! The Bat Mobile - would look great on a Scoob, I think. Also, the matt black finish looked great on the police cars in the first RoboCop movie
  15. Matt black! Well now, that is different and would look real cool
  16. Looks very cool! Although not as cool as my new decals LOL!!!! What happened with the Hawkeye front end? Sacked that?
  17. Leave it as is, I do with no issues... yet
  18. Your car is lookin' cooooooooool mate It would benefit from a front splitter though.
  19. No ramps. Crank sensor????
  20. Yeah, but I have to get under the car to do that, and to get under the car I need to jack it up, but to jack it up I need to remove the plastic to reveal the jack point! ARGH! Why is nothing freaking simple!
  21. Yeah, I knew about the pre-fill but dunno about turning the engine over... I need to do a change before the track on Sat.
  22. Cheers Joe, but I don't think I could get the jack under the car, its too low. Plus, I think I have all that plastic crap in the way of the jack-point anyway.
  23. Ok, now that I am a past-master in graphics application ( ) I am going to attempt something a bit more technical - an oil change. Ha! I know the process is staright-forward > drain oil - remove filter - fill new filter and attach - fill engine - job done. BUT, were is a safe place to put the axel stands on the front of the car? Please can I have a picture of the car's underside with arrows pointing to the right bits, cuz I don't know the names! Thanks!
  24. Hahaha! C'mon Andy, dinna hod back, tell us we you really feel.
  25. Welcome mate
