  1. Ouch for Corsa! I think that takes the prize. I ground off the rough edges at the crack and then put in some "no-mix" cataloy into it. Once it hardens I'll buff it down and paint it. I can't work it out though; I was going in and out of the driveway without any bother, then one time it hit. Had to get the missus to watch and I tried different angles and areas of the driveway. Pfff what a hassle!
  2. Fitted the Scott Lowe splitter onto my Hawkeye... looks fantastic. The record that I think I have set is that it was on TWO days till I cracked it!!! ARGH! Beat that!
  3. You got off lightly, try 300 and 1000.
  4. Good point. Sorry to hear your giving up on the marque, maybe you should come back in the seat of a NewAge. All the best with what ever you do and will continue to enjoy the pics. J
  5. Good grief! How did you find this? This was posted up months ago! In the end I took the car its 10K service and complained about the brakes. They told me my braking was excessive and hard. I said well, I didn't buy a car like this to go at 30mph. He agreed and said in not so many words that Subaru appreciate that the equipment is not up to the job, so they'd replace the discs under warranty but not the pads. I don't have Prodrive stuff, just the standard brakes that come with the car.
  6. Id love one, but funds are not available! Bought a turbo timer and splitter, so have to ease off for a wee bit! Spliter delivered this weekend and TT fitted today.
  7. Agree with that. The first two mods are essential while the dolly birds are option! Lovely car regardless though.
  8. Nice one mate, enjoy it.
  9. Granted. But I can't help thinking that these factors are manufactured by oil companies to intentionally drive up the price to lace their greedy, and already filled pockets. Some of the factors we hear about in the news are laughable, usually to do with terrorsism, bull-cr@p!
  10. Just a blip mate, give him a call back, he does work for a lot of us on here andI have never heard a single complaint.
  11. Hypertech... they fix everything. What's this about a replacement ECU anyway? Thought Scoobies were remapped, not replaced. Enlighten me!
  12. Good luck with it mate.
  13. Cool pics, except for the Cheggers one's, who needs to see his mush!
  14. About as subtle as pink sticker on a silver classic!!! Ha! [][]
  15. Coooool! I'll look out for your car over the weekend and give you a gander at the TT. Top man! [Y]
  16. Ach! Can't watch those. In between houses at the moment so I am stuck with dial-up for a while! I might have seen them before though, cause I am sure you posted them previously. J
  17. looks like he failed miserably then [] NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
  18. Yes, nice car and the wheels look a treat. They compliment the body colour rather well, eye-catching and subltle over all look. Sorry, but I DO prefer the Evo, nice one dad! As for you Pink-Boy!: Hot car, love it (from one who is not a Classic-lover by any means). The picture on the trip looks like clip from a movie, fab! You know how I feel about those sticker though, however they do add originality and make the car stand out... but the flag... []
  19. Cool! Does that mean... that... er, um, that you er, might erm FIT MINE! [][][][][][][]
  20. WElcome mate, like 4Hero says, we need pics or we send the boys round! Enjoy your stay.
  21. Dunno mate! It has a loom at the end of which, it has a little connector plug type-thing. It also has two separate wires (from the connector) one of which says its to go to ground and the other to the handbrake.
  22. Ok then, does anyone know where I should take the car to get it fitted?
  23. Outstanding man! These are the best results I have seen so far. Car looks better than new. Don't spose you can fit a turbo-timer, can you? Na, Didn't think so! Great work.
  24. Just like the rest of then. Welcome mate, enjoy your stay.
