  1. Bloody hell! That is shocking! Glad you got away. Need to be driving with the locks on from now on and if anyone comes at me with a crow bar I'll be going at them with an Impreza. Hope you're alright mate.
  2. Blah blah blah here we go again, the terrosism merry-go-round. Think about it. We are currently at critical alert, which means there is credible intellegence to say that another attack WILL occur. Ok, let's examine the facts: this incident and the two in London were carried out without the knowledge of our so-called terrorist intellegence. This incidient happenend over 7 hours ago and it is suspected that one of the men may have had an explosive device. How long does it take "intellegence" to work out what a bomb is. Again, it is being suggested that there maybe have been a third person in the car and today there may have been four! What intellegence is required to count to four? And what of the enemy? Three attempts in the last couple of days, unnoticed yet all failed. I'm fed up with it, it's a load of bollocks and no doubt the government will find someway of using this and other similair incidents as a means of screwing the pubilc for cash. Sick of living in the shadow of fear BOLLOOOOOOOOOOCKS! Rant over... [:#]
  3. Well, you have to admit, its not the best job in the world, but anything is better that walking the streets... []
  4. Yup! They very kindly delivered my broadband stuff today, great!
  5. Look extremely cooool [H]
  6. Yes, avoid Khumos; almost had me in the ditch on Sunday. Big sideways moment on a tight rain-soaked bend; lots of oppostie lock and some gentle braking got it straight again, totally sh1t myself. Hoping to to get GY Eagle F1s in the next few months
  7. Yes. Also told them there was a sticky on the forum advertising their services. The guy put me onto someone else and he said the same thing.
  8. Yeah, I remember that, tragic. Shame for all these people, I do feel for them. If only they could read this thread; the lighthearted comments are funny and would maybe cheer them up at bit (Who saw the fires in Sheffield? HAHAHA!)
  9. Yeah I know, I was planning on getting them done this week too. Not Good.
  10. Admiral too which is the same as Elephant anyway...
  11. Posted above is a sticky saying that SIDC members will get wheels refurbed for £35 per corner including balancing. However, when I called up and inquired about this, I was informed that tyre removal and balancing is not included.
  12. Congratualtions on the new purchase, I kow you'll enjoy it mate.
  13. aye, some times when i pass through there i can see folks out on their verandah's playing banjo's and spitting into an old tin pan whilst wearing a cowboy hat and chewing on a piece of straw. ........good luck with the move guys, remember i'm only 10 mins away if you need a hand with anything, just give me a shout.[Y] Jeez, that bad huh? Good luck with it and look at Marky, might drive an older car, but what a nice guy eh?
  14. OR! Who cares?
  15. Splendid! Glad to hear it mate, such a weight off. Where are you moving to?
  16. Thanks folks; except Colzo []
  17. Replied mate. All the best with it.
  18. Where can I get 4 of these and how much? Thanks
  19. That was the best view of her! And even that is not too great! EDIT: Previous comments were unfair. On closer inspection, it aint that bad, just not as good as Ac!d and BillyBoy think it is!
  20. Ha! Never noticed that. I did notice however, their comments regarding the suspension; "Impreza's handling has lost none of its magic". Don't they know that the standard suspension is mince? So maybe you're right regarding their credibilty and reliabilty regarding such matters. That said, at least they got the picture right and that alone is enough to make me spew!
  21. Yeah! There is is! Two of the most ugly modern cars on the road.
  22. From that article, the new Impreza has gone from bad to worse. It was, and still is and ugly pile of bile that has totally lost its edge. The new offering has blended itself with all other medicore middle-of-the-road cars, its a devation from what made/makes owning a Subaru a joy and thrill. To describe the car as bland, would be an overstatement. Who knows, maybe the STi will offer something more, but two things: 1)Not holding my breath; 2) Won't be able to afford it anyway. Screw you Subaru...
  23. So it is possible. I knew of all the extra tanks, ECUs and piping, and also the running off of petrol from start until the LPG "thawed". I can't see how this wouldn't work by running the petrol side of things on a remap and using the LPG for regular driving. I suppose as Gus stated though, it would take two years to recoup the outlay for the conversion. I guess its possible but not practical.
  24. Beyond quality, fantastic! Shame for the guy with the Evo, I'd be gutted if that happened to me.
