Hard to say Neil. The IC in the WRX is not as big from front to back which of course provides better cooling. This is fine, the question is whether or not there is a difference in the width.come to think about it, that IC should fit mine as both our cars are MY06s. I doubt there will be too many ICs going around for sale from models that new, so I have to hope that earlier models will also fit.

Hi Folks After mapping, I was advised to upgrade my TMIC to an STi one. My car is MY06 and was wondering what year of STi intercooler would fit mine without having to chop bits away and the like. Is it possible to get an STi TMIC to bolt straight on? If so, what range of Model Year will fit. As I said in the topic title, this is a future purchase (though hopefully not to far depending on price) as i have cleaned myself out in the meantime. Thanks

I've not, only cause I haven't had the chance. Near were I live, the local golf course has a car park, quite small, and it had a temporary surface, gravel and the like. I had a rubbing sound, so I put the car on full lock and drove round in circles to feel it out. I had track-wheels on, so I gave it a bit more stick, and felt the car sliding, it was fun, but I was much too feert to attempt anything else other than that! I remember Corsa posting a video of him giving it yahoo on a beach near his holiday home and no one lambasted him for that.

Crail & Knockhill. Knockhill has a skidpan so you can do all that stuff as well. You're right though, it would be cool to have some private land to at least take the car to its maximum speed, even if its for only once in its life time! So, anyone own an disused airstrip or anything?

You have shown that you do therefore have sense, and with it a sign of maturity, well done. Give your car and its followers a little more respect, owning and and driving a car like that comes with responsibility.

Hmmm, I am finding myself liking that. Of course the road versions that we are seeing now are rank. I'd like to see a picture of both cars side by side.
