I can understand updating wrx ones if the oem ones are plastic but just not sure about the Sti when oem are metal anyway.

Got price from duncan and have also looked into this more and there seems to be 2 opinions on uprating the droplinks. One view is do it and the other one is stay standard as the uprated ones need replacing more often due to parts being exposed and not protected from rain and dirt. Does anyone run standard droplinks on here and track their car? Are they worth spending 2 times as much money in some cases?

Took a look under the rear of the car and 8 years on I think some bits need replacing. Passed Mot but going to be keeping it so want to do bits and pieces over months ahead to get it looking and handling better. So what droplinks and rear arb are popular and where is best place to get? Car will be used on track occassionally. Cheers Chris

Thanks for the offer davie. I have thought this over and have decided to go down the meercat route. I was looking at ways of getting the 2nd cat off and centre just now without going the full exhaust route as well. Guess the whole new car need more power syndrome got better of me. I will just need to be content with what I have and save for the full system and remap next year. Some gucci bling will be eating the funds soon

Meercat is gucci in the exhaust world and just wondered what other options were as money isn't as readily available as years gone by. Don't want to spend money unnecessarily when gill has shoes to buy lol:-)

Davie, I have seen the tunnel video you posted and I heard you the other sife of town lol. I want something middle of the road loudness wise

Cobra do a cat delete pipe for second cat for £69 delivered including gaskets and scoobyworld do the afterburner non res centre section for about £90 I think so though about this route possibly with either ninja sport cat or cobra sport cat downpipe next year. This is a very cost effective option or do I go for full meercat sport cat system which is quite costly but a proven good system.

Can anyone tell me what a prodrive backbox with non resonated centre and second cat deleted would sound like ie how loud is it as I am trying to decide what to do with the exhaust. I have all the cats and resonator in place with a prodrive backbox. Is it loud or quiet? Cheers Chris
