mark, how long did you run the car for before hitting over 3k rpm? Willie mentioned i need to do about 8 miles to bed it in but am not sure if that is just for first 8 miles or every time i take it out. Chris

well i finally decided what to get fitted and am looking forward to a nice new meercat snakehead sportcat downpipe which will be in my posession v v v v soon ;-)

so what is the best to go for. Is a recirculating one just good beacuse you can install it and forget about it?

On my list of things to get before my remap is an oil catch tank. From what i can tell there are 2 main types (recirculating and non recirculating). I have a hawkeye sti and want to know the pros and cons of both types? Where is the best place to locate it in a hawkeye STI. Any pics of fitted ones would be good. Chris

Well things took a turn for the better for some reason as Lorna contacted me regarding the photos and was a lot more helpful. Chris

got all 4 alloys replaced today whilst the car was in for a service at S&S. Would like to thank Lorna for all her help. It was the 30k serivec and the car feels a lot better after it. The wheels are a lighter gold colour which is weird but will end up getting them powder coated so not that bothered. Would also like to say thanks for the SIDC discount on my service which Lorna gave me which was a bot of a surprise but a welcome surpirse. also got the seat fixed as it was clunking a bit. Thanks S&S.

I have bought a lower h-brace for my car and wondered what was invloved in fitting it? Do any parts need to be removed permanently for fitting? Thanks in advance for any help. cheers Chris
