gus the bus Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Folks, I know a number of you were aware that my mum wasn't well. So, I thought I'd let you all know that very sadly she passed away yesterday.[] Mum was very courageous until the end and after a two year long battle with Cancer passed peacefully at the age of 68 with my dad and myself @ her bedside. One thing she asked me to say on her death was how very proud she was of the tremendous efforts of SIDC in the events relating to Richard Burns Memorial ( mum was a fan of rallying[] and took me to my first Scottish Rally @ 6months of age) and the huge amount we all raised for Cancer Research[] Wilky, you never knew my mum by she certainly knew of you!!!! Mum asked that we celebrate her life and not mourn so, over the next few days I'm certainly going to do that. Can I finally say a huge thanks to those that asked after mum whilst she was ill. Just shows what a great bunch of people we have here in the Club.[] RIP MUM Gus
