or try a company like the guy whos forum name has slipped my mind but he recently got his series mcrae delivered from down south to up north ?

Grant - why can it not be driven home? Cost/sorned/no mot/no ins?

Just dont fancy its first journey to be a doddle up the Motorway and over the Kingston Bridge

Would rather get used to the clutch away from the Kingston Bridge

The guy that took Colin's cars to Warwick last year is seeing if can help but still looking at options

In my opinion if the car is road legal then just drive it up the road. The cost of getting it up here on a flatbed will add a fair bit to the price of the car. That money could be spend on a service or a velvet rope.

If there is something else that worries you like you'd like to do a few shakedpwn runs closer to home I'd understand that too but if traffic is your main worry just travel in the evening. Worse case scenario - stop off at Bargeddie and wait till the traffic has dies down.
