hmmm just had a look in his shop, he seems to sell quite alot of stickers maybe he does it for a living or some extra dosh, so i would imagine the money is going in his pocket!

sad that people are trying to cash in on this TBH :-(

the offical sticker is what its all about and imitations are something i did not even think would happen

if you read the light blue text it says that the sticker has not got a white backround its just the golg bit

Same as the original McRae stickers that we had approved. Loads of rip off merchants on ebay cashing in. One of those situations that makes you hope divine retribution is possible.

looks like the seller has been careful to avoide copyright issues. ie. lanark to babury instead of prodrive.

could subaru get them on the star logo? dangerous road to go down mind you as quite a few of us have stickered up replica cars bearing the same logo.

Possibly. easier! They didn't even have to buy it!! All you needed to do is get a photo of one or the design (which was posted way back in jan this year I think) and then simply redraw it and cut it out! I confess I tried that at the beginning of the year as i was going to put a bigger version of it across the bonnet for the local Snowman Rally event.. But the top lettering was a touch too small and was prooving too much hassle.. still got the remains of it lying aroudn somewhere.. This was way before the first stickers were available..!

I don't mind people selling McRae stickers but 2 things:

1) No copy of hte Gathering Stickers shoudl be distributed.. there's was only one genuine version!

2) If stickers are made and sold on eBay a nice percentage of the cost should go the appropriate charity! Which as grant has bene chasing up a few times, many don't seem to be and are cashing in for themselves.

I should just point out that with the ">< C.Mcrae" stickers I've been making have raised nearly £900 the last year!!! (without eBay) Another £100 to go and that'd be a great milestone!

all you lot talking about giving the guy a doing politely ask him for a donation you might get some , scareing him off wont work

and anyway how many of you lot are listening to a copy cd or even made one on your pc

or have bought a cheap dvd

or cheap goods from the market its just the same thing

Disagree there mate as they are doing a charity out of money

When listening to a copied CD it is some faceless corperation that is losing out.

The guy has responded and pulled any listing he had for the stickers and was completely unaware of what he was doing in respect of what the event was all about

getting off the subject of the greatman himself and onto faceless corperations

could prodrive not be one of them they charge for work that can and is done the same for same power outputs by others who are cheaper

so buy buying a dawes device or resistor boost remover chip (superchip)you are ripping of prodrive

so sony or home copy cd or ppp or cheap chip its still classed as ripping someone off and illegal
