  1. You must be joking, unless you like styling like "The Fast and the Furious". Some real nasty looking cars and some of the spoilers are just plain daft!
  2. Dont know why...every clip is from rally or shows. Loved the bit where the guy is jumping between huge ramps with his hand out waving by the way!
  3. I think all the old footage is to show its rally pedigree, obviously the new car has yet to be shown on the rally world. Saying that I seen one on Sky Sport Rally World in the British Rally Series. Looked good but the feckin bumper kept gettin ripped off! lol

  16. Press scare mongering as usual and showing the sort of responsability that causes major problems. Why would the driver striking cause major saftey issues?? BBC want a kick up the ar$e!! I will be filling up the focus on friday to be safe though in case all the panic merchants start their crap! The same ones that at xmas buy 15 loafs from the supermarket and meant I had none! grrrr
  17. Were you sitting on a flat at this point or a hill on the biting point?

  21. Its a tricky one. Mine started to slip one day when I sat on the biting points at lights on a steep hill. When I dropped the clutch it slipped like hell and just revved. Car was MY00 Classic with 100k on clock Slipped again a few times on the way home and again in the morning, so I booked it in at my mates garage. Stopped slipping in the week up to getting the new one fitted. My mate spend nearly all day doing it and looked well p'd off when I went to get it that night. I was met with " I am never doing one of those feckers again!" Thing is he showed me my old one and told me it still had plenty life in it. Most likely overheated the clutch that day, but was defo not a need to do job. £400 pound bill though, and he dont charge me much for labour. Ouch. Calculated risk though as it could go or actually be in the same state mine was and be good for a good bit longer.
  22. Used them a long time ago with my RS Turbo. Were total a$$holes mind you. Knew their stuff but their attitude made me decide never to use them again. Patronising and came close to a smack on the nose. Dont look like they have ever changed either! Just my experience.
  23. Drove past a new Black STI on the A80 today. Totally unremarkable from rear, and only the pink STi sign drew my attention. Certainly does not catch the eye the new model. The guy was doing about 50mph(must be running her in). Did not look pleased when I flew by in my 1.6 Focus! Could see he is itching to open her up! Dave
  24. Could still be the problem though> I had mine stripped and the pads replaced. Both had seized pistons at the time. Within 3-4 months I had the same feeling and an incredible amount of brake dust. Had them stripped again and again pistons on one side had seized. Got them over hauled and never had the problem again in 6 months up to me killing the car.
  25. I had the same noise, then accompanied by a nee naw nee naw, and 5 points and 200 notes fine. Stick under 70 and you aint got nought to worry about! lol
