FINALLY got insurance cheque through last week after over 2 months!!
Picked up new car yesterday..........its a?????????
Double Zero....dont give it away!
Its a long drawn out affair. Made me a verbal offer of £5k last wed. Was meant to have sent docs for me to sign that day, but still not arrived! Thats 2 months since the crash tomorrow!!
Nationwide Crash Repair are terrible. Its them delaying and not Aplan or Marketstudy.
Hopefully going looking for a nice sensible station wagon at the weekend, thanks to my taxi...Double Zero!
Ouch....thats why I am over 250 notes up this month. No scooby to feed = lots of cash.
Got £45 argos vouchers from Shell last week. Worked out they only cost £4000. Bargain!
Shocking mate. I stay in Carronshore myself, although aint got a subaru for the feckers to steal while insurance is sorted.
Keep an eye out, but cant see it being in the area here.

My mate had one of them a few years ago. It was something like 350 bhp. He also killed that rally raiding. lol. Then he killed his scooby to. Good thing he is banned the now!!!
Dont even start me on that. Not even got 1st offer. Docs took two weeks to arrive then the insurance lost the FSH and Recipts. All turned up today, so should get one tomorrow. Havin no car is killing me!
Try some rally raids by accident and realise yer crap and kill it in a ditch. Thats what I did. Least I dont need to sell it eh!
I am considering a BMW320i or maybe back to a mondeo(had one before). Nought to the Scooby standard. Nice and cheap to run! Well in comparison to the Impreza
Not through choice...I crashed mine, but to be honest the cost of running(again about 50 miles a day) was killing my wallet.
Once insurance cash is through, I will not be getting another for a while.
These are great cars, but like you say sometimes the head and wallet needs to rule the heart.
Completely agree. When in my mates car before I always feared for my life! He was nuts.
Saying that, he is now on the rigs, and has a newborn, which I believe will mellow him out. Besides, think it will cost a mortgage to get insurance anyway!
Totally cr@pped it when the police thumped the door to serve the papers. Thought I had missed the court date and it was a warrent!
Glad its over now, like you say, its the worrying waiting that kills you.
Dave
Its a pity we dont have the English Law for traffic offences. They seem to prefer giving out short bans rather than points.
My mate got caught doing 106 in England on a 60 Limit. He sold his M3 expecting a long ban.
Got a 2 week ban and 120 pound fine! To make it even more ironic, he was offshore while the ban stood!
Prefer that thinking to Scottish Law!
