  2. I've been with Keith Michaels for the last two years but A-PLAN beat them by exactly £100, so as good as Keith Michaels are it's always worth shopping about.
  3. "Or hold out and import something special from a well respected source... " Just my tuppence worth but this would be my preferred option.

  9. Congratulations, where you based?
  10. This 'formation' idea although well meant, i think, is a non-starter. The Main Street/High Street where the service will take place by my understanding will be closed to ALL traffic. The surrounding roads and streets are simply not boulevard wide enough to support chevron parking, the only available place probably would be the Market parking where we met last Sunday.

  12. Awesome, squiggle, awesome! no tears, just makes me feel proud he was one of us.
  13. Everybody's driving today was extremely well behaved and quite rightly so, to then be suspiciously followed within our convoy by unmarked police vehicles showed a lack of understanding by the local police. craig.
  14. I had intended to go to Doune but feel it would be more fitting to join you all in Lanark.
  15. Here's the write up that Carl Davey placed on S/net about the tmic. Oh and thanks for the wee run the other night. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/projects-40/61223...hase-1-5-a.html
  16. Nice photos steve, you did well keeping it clean after driving through that field.
  17. yes some solid drop-links and an APEXI ECU mucked about wie some wide-o fe IlivenearEdinburghbitafurgh.
  18. I've adjusted mine by taking out the oblong rubber plug at the back of each rear wheel disc backing plate and using a flat blade screwdriver rotate the cogged wheel ( either up or down can't remember which ) to adjust the handbrake shoes.
  19. It almost feels like i've entered the scottish scoobies big brother house! "Hello, pleased to meet you , and your name is..........." not that i've Ever watched any of that pish( check swear filter ) anyway it looks all shiney and new, and it feels great to be back home.
  20. Have to agree, this was by far the most enjoyable day at knockhill for a very long time, and i was only there for the morning session. Just walking through the paddock was great having a blether here and a blether there. Really sorry i could'nt stay for the afternoon/evening session, hopefully next time. AndyJDM STI's world rally car is one stunning piece of work! Squirrel the bike helmet is my mate's Danny who rides one of these http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e115/sea.../1090779562.jpg he calls it the scooby-eater to piss me off. Craig.
  21. Welcome back, the legacy wagon was what sent me down this subaru spiral of madness, great old buses.
  22. James, Yes James it was indeed myself, sorry i couldn't stop for a blether but had to be somewhere pronto. craig.
  23. could be worth a look http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/187932.htm
  24. As someone who has a Sti Wagon , i'd say you've made a good choice of scoob. Not having seen the car your looking at i'd still think the £8795 is far too high. There is someone on this site (can't remember his name at the moment - somebody will ) who is fast getting a really good name for importing excellent classics, if it were me i'd certainly look into this . craig.
