Hi Guys N Gals, Just another quick post, cos IT WILL SOON BE THURSDAY I need to know how many of you chaps are coming to the Fearsome Challenge, or rather more importantly, whos up for Fish'nChips after!   8. Please read the general post first. thank you The Additional IOM Agenda Thursday 18th September 9:00 am meet @ corkills forecourt, Onchan. Another gentle stroll over the Mountain to annoy Jeremy and his Top (Gear) Gang at Ramsey before returning up to the Gooseneck to spectate. Meet the Seacat @ 1:00pm at Douglas harbour, then lead to hotels Re-group at 3:00pm, then a visit to The Calf of Man (via the Ballamhoda Straight of course) for a cup of tea and a little welcome chat. Meet the Ben-My-Cree @ 6:00pm at Douglas Harbour, then lead to hotels Re-group at 7:30pm and Lead the way to Peel where the SIDC will meet at the House of Manannan and IOM will meet @ The Creek Inn (Opposite) Friday 19th September Drive the Druidale trail, (careful it?s a tad bumpy in places) SIDC meet for afternoon buffet at the Gaiety theatre! OR circumnavigate to the Claddaghs at Sulby with IOM then off to Marine Drive, Douglas for a Manx Photo Shoot, Oh, did I mention to go via the back roads from Sulby to St Paul?s Square for an ice-cream and then the coast road, groudle road, promenade, South Quay and up to Douglas Head for the photo?s (and Marine Drive!). Sam Webb?s for a drink before Barry Cryer (150yds down from the Theatre just across road on the corner) Saturday 20th September 3:00 pm Meet at the Viking Public House,Castletown, (Oh dear HOW far from Ramsey!!.) Please bring wet weather clothing for this as you will be required to leave your vehicles to find the clues!!. 8:00pm till 10:00 The Fearsome Manx Challenge, at the Castle Mona Hotel, Ten Pin Bowling, followed by fish an chips nearby. Sunday 21st September SIDC The Mountain Run. The closed road concludes at the Bungalow (The Tram Crossing) were the IOM will be waiting to greet you, and then move down the mountain as one!. Re-group at the Creg-Ny-baa pub, Back to the Goose neck via, laxey and the back road, then guess what when the road opens, over we go again, and again, and again, well till everyone is dizzy that is!! The Gala Dinner This will be at the Hilton, which again we are not invited too, But the IOM just might happen to be dining there as well that night in an adjoining room!!   16. Just in case you have missed the Other thread (re Manx Challenge) I have booked 6 lanes for 2 hours on the saturday Night!!!! Just need to know that a few more of you are coming!   23. i did get one but A; it's well worn & B; Margies washed it!!!! Say no more, other than the colours WILL run, i reckon mines done a marathon. Please bring one (Medium) over and i will settle up when u get here, i'm guessing you are on the Super Sea Cat from Liverpool? if so go first class, only £6 each per sailing and you get a much better lounge plus free t & Coffee plus they will fetch food and drinks for you.
