....ready for knockhill on Friday [] New suspension time for the wee thing The rears went on fine no bother at all... but the front were a bit puzzling. feckin gearbox oil... got ****in covered in the shoot Putting new suspension on .... jiggling the hub about.... whoopsio... oh oh spagettio... big puddle of oil on floor. The opposite shaft had popped out dribblin its jizz over the floor.... didnt notice till nearly all of it was out min got upper and lower strut braces to try them out...since we disconnected the ARB for the front suspension All done now to try out on track on Friday....getting new front tyres on tomorrow and the tracking done. From experience, how long does it usually take for new suspension to bed down?

I tend to take up two spaces too.... you can guarantee that even if you are in a completely empty car park, someone will park right next to you.....why????

passed 3 months after my 17th....back in 1999 so been driving 7 years now no points, no accidents.....touch wood Adam says he thinks I'm going to lose my license with the impreza! Doh!

The drivers door has been done again......happy with it now [] New alarm attachment fitted so it chirps if someone goes near my car and then sets it off if they dont back away! Fingers crossed no more damage will be done now! Fitted my new gauge pod on saturday too []

me of course [] It's back in the bodyshop now though [:$] still not happy with it....the area on the drivers door that was dented is a bit rippled and they missed the dent at the front of the handle..... apparently with it being a black car though it will never come out looking perfect again [8-)] you can see it in this pic

Went for a wee drive yesterday

Had to wait for them to touch up a few bits....(shock) but it all seems ok now They were cleverly washing it as I arrived....maybe I'm cynical but that's a good way to hide any imperfections! It's bloody fantastic though....I get more excited everytime I drive it!

Tell me about it!!! Doh! Picking it up again in an hour or so.....fingers crossed this time. Asked them to double check over it all as well before I get there as I don't have time to be standing around again as they try to polish bits out

Impreza was finished yesterday.....after being home from work 5 minutes and checking it over its now back in the bodyshop! Why can people never get things right first time? Or am I just too fussy?

yep....diff was on full lock....it didnt seem to make much of a difference!

I need to build up some muscles to be able to drive it...it's so damn heavy!!

ah.....was that you? blue classic? the pug is driving ace....still with the original 1.9 but it does feel really nippy planning to keep it that way for the summer and then over the winter do a conversion.....was thinking an Mi16....but now considering a 1.6 16v....we'll see only took the impreza up the strip a couple of times....after the rain it was just spinning on the line or going sideways LOL

oh....and we went to pick up Adam's new car yesterday [H]

Picked the Impreza up on Saturday from AWD....been in there for 2 weeks and I have missed it heaps! Have to say....it's driving like a dream with its new suspension and tyres.....feels fantastic New clutch is smashing too....big thumbs up [] Big thank you to the guys at AWD for all their work on it Its now in the garage getting all the bodywork done from the damage caused by pikey c***s so in a couple of days it will look and drive fan-bloomin-tastic []

yeah...Adam said that might happen.... Need to download the right codec.... DivX 5.1 .avi I have no idea....he might explain when he comes on later

Stuck the gfx on ourselves on fri night .... last couple are a bit squint as it was dark.... and late

its a TEIN, AVO and pug hybrid setup.... Pug bits, AVO and TEIN stickers

spent a few hours last night tarting up the pug ..... for its first track outing today. The impreza was a late arrival as it was still getting its new bits n bobs finished in the morning. We had to leave the track halfway through for 2hours or so.... so missed a good part of it The pug was great..... :D handled quite well, braked quite well..... and drove home too The impreza was good too.... just a bit more cautious with it... and its rad cap started leaking... so after a few laps (15) steam started to appear. So called it a day for it. New susp and tyres are a I didnt drive it, but Adam had it on the track. got some vids.... but you can wait. Didnt stay too long on the 1/4mile afterwards as the weather was poo, and wasnt much fun after the trackday. Andy if you read this: Sorry i didnt see you before we left, i'll give you a call on monday.
