I get funny looks in mine too...but then again I also get funny looks in the range rover, the porsche and the 205 (especially when I take it to work and try to clamber over the door bars in my skirt! [:$] )! I dont think any of them are really 'girlie' cars. Saying that....Adam tends to get funny looks in my car too....I think people see the plate and then look up to check me out and get a bit of a shock when it's actually a guy driving!

Fee...because that's what everyone calls me I find it very confusing when you actually meet people and they tell you two different names, their real name and their forum name. Not if all your cars are broken or uninsured! LOL Stuck the rr on my insurance temporarily so at least I have something. 205 should hopefully be running by the weekend as well. I'll give them a call

How long is your petrol station closed for?

Any other recommended places to get them from? Quite a few on ebay, but I never really trust myself to get the right one!!! East end radiators? Are they any good?

I should be an expert now at fitting them!!! We should be there on the 19th.....the pug should be ready Corsa's not looking hopeful though...the engine was rebuild and is in bits again. That sounds exactly like mine though....driving for 10 minutes until the temp gets up then steam pissing out Left it to cool down, filled it up again and nothing!

It should be....but want to give the whole system a clear out just to make sure hopefully that will be it...but things just don't seem to be going my way with cars at the moment!

After 'almost' getting the new radiator in the pug and it all fixed up for knockhill on 19th....my impreza went and broke last night! I dont seem to be having too much luck with my coolant systems! On my way home from work, driving for no longer than 10 minutes and the temp gauge shot right up and steam pissing out from the bonnet.[] I had coolant leaking out from the radiator end cap...but only a pin pr1ck size hole from what I could see Found out that one of my pipes was completely blocked with gunk, so the water/coolant hasn't been able to circulate. I filled it up again, and it doesnt appear to be leaking anymore....cant find the hole anywhere Do you think that with the pressure building up from the blockage, it could have just kinda burst out the side of the rad a wee bit, and with it all flowing round now it will be ok? It seems a bit too easy for me, but I just can't find a leak anywhere now Gonna give the whole system a clean out next weekend....and take off all the pipes and make sure they are clean Broken impreza, broken pug, broken corsa, uninsured porsche, uninsured range rover....looks like I'll be bussing it for a little while [:'(]

2 door is definitely the way to go....either the Type R or the P1 You're right about the motorway driving...it can be a bit of a pain in the arse as it sits at high RPM because of the short ratio gear box.....you do get over this though...it doesn't bother me that much at all (I think just because I love the car so much) but it does bug the hell out of Adam! Petrol wise, I wouldnt say it's as bad as people make out, but obviously not as economic as your bog standard run of the mill car. I haven't had mine remapped so use optimax and octaine booster and find that I can do about 270ish miles to a tank (£50 of Optimax) Servicing....parts can be a bit more expensive than on other cars...oil is about £50, spark plugs about the same. I used to service my last car myself but found it near impossible to get into the spark plugs on the impreza!!! so have only had them changed by garages which obviously bumps the bill up though. I guess if you're a bit more patient than me though it can all be done yourself. yeah...about £120 a corner, as opposed to £500 for the bbs lms!!! don't suppose you could get a pic of them on the car? the only reason I'm not too keen on them is the spokes look a bit thin...whereas the ultralites and the bbs lms are more chunky
