  1. Better late than never! My last rr day produced 289.5BHP and 243.9lbs torque so down a bit now on last year the RR op said it was running rich, to me it doesnt seem overly rich. Is my boost normal? 16psi peak, falling to 15psi? I have a feeling that I may have a small boost leak.....

  14. 1988 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante X pack A two owner car having covered a documented 27,000 miles. The car has a complete history file with all the correct books and tools. More importantly the car is the ultimate specification being a manual car with the factory delivered X pack engine/suspension upgrades. It is finished in the colour scheme of Rolls Royce Chichester blue with a dark blue roof and blue piped parchment interior. The car is a truly unmolested low mileage genuine car and sensibly priced. Price £78,500 1968 Shelby GT500 This particular car was one of only 1,140 1968 GT500 Fastbacks made. The car has been the subject of a comprehensive American restoration in the 1990’s and has been in a large private European collection since that time. Its big-block V8 is married to a four-speed 'Top Loader' manual gearbox and has been subject to a £16,000 recent engine rebuild. The car has all the Shelby accessories and is known to the SAAC. Shelby Mustangs and Cobra’s are very much in vogue in the US, with the cheapest in the January BJ auctions making over £100k. The history file contains some period magazines/articles on GT500’s. The car appears to have been fully restored in America prior to the Kruse Auction in 1995 and has still kept it’s original interior. The drivers door build spec tag indicates that the car was originally Acapulco blue metallic/black vinyl interior and manual, built on the 26/02/1968. The car also has the correct Shelby vin plates and Ford vin numbers in all the right places. Price £77,500
  15. ...I just can't decide which one I should buy first LOL or this baby WOW [:|]
  16. I'm getting so confused! Everything I read says something different. So I'll start from the beginning and hopefully someone can just tell me what I need to know! I have a 1997 WRX STi TypeR (R reg) (oh, and does that mean its a STi IV or V???) I'm trying to figure out what steering rack I need for the car (or have on the car at the moment)....if I need a quick/short rack Some posts say that all TypeR's have a quick rack as standard.....others say only the V limited do. AWD have said that I have a standard rack but a "STI QUICK STEER SYSTEM"....is this the same thing? Just got Adam at home to turn the wheel lock to lock....and it turns 2 and 3/4 times...this may be helpful if I knew what a standard rack should turn! to me that would suggest a standard rack though (but I'm just guessing) I've also spoken to Subaru who have said that the rack for my car is the same as the P1...although I've read posts stating otherwise....is this because it is actually the same rack but without this STi quick steer system? If it is the same rack....can the steer system be taken off one and put on another? Essay now over......please someone explain to me in dummy terms wtf this is all about!!! Thank you [:^)]
  17. just read about this on the GTR forum....well done andy
  18. invesigating a fluid leak on the impreza. Seems to be PS fluid from the clyinder, or seals round in in the rack. See pic. What is this part? It seems to be leaking from the seals at either side of it....can it be removed and the seals replaced? Also checked the size of the pug in the new garage.... Its fits washed 911, pug and impreza, ken
  19. No pug is up and running too.....it was almost ready for knockhill....just needed a few extra things done, but Adam got delayed offshore and I didnt have time to work on it. Exhaust manifold came loose again...turned out one of the bolts was knackered (it was beginning to sound a lot like a tractor!) so got a new fitting kit and its all sorted now
  20. [] Impreza is finally back up and running....new radiator arrived Tuesday and was fitted last night I am so glad to be back on the road! Took the old one out and found the problem straight away...there was a clear 2 inch long split down the end cap (right on one of the join areas) I can't believe how excited I was to be driving it again today! Have to say....I ordered the rad off ebay from radiator_specialists on Monday afternoon and had it delivered Tuesday morning....would highly recommend them A very happy fee fee []
  21. Awww...poor Sharon.... get well soon hun []
