  1. If it's one of my photos they have used, it's most likely this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnsidc/1542...57602226874075/ Click on the all sizes button and select original to get the full size picture. I think Stephen and Andy are just to the right of the nearest lamppost to the front. I've also just noticed an odd "thing" on the balcony on the top left hand corner where the people are looking down on the service. The're a person sitting down and it almost looks like a clay bust of someone :kerstsmiley: John
  2. Sadly I can now confirm I won't be able to attend Hope everyone has a great night John
  3. I may still be able to make this event, but can't confirm until closer to the time. Might be over in Holland later this week, or early next...
  4. Possibly Sunday 9th would be best, or really any day during work. I'm happy for you to borrow them for the day, have a play and take them back again. John
  5. Dale, just give me a shout when you are back onshore. I can easily take the camera and lenses etc into work one day, or you could pop out some weekend ? John
  6. Quality video as always Rog Those recent mods to your car seem to have made quite a difference in overall speed John
  7. Most of my photos at the hairpin were taken with my 70-200 F4 lens, which is very nice to use. Light, fast focussing and you can go from 70 - 200mm with a few inches of wrist movement. Another one worth consider would be the 70-300 lens, which also has IS built in and has a bit more reach. I've also got a 100-400 which I use for the longer range shots, generally using a tripod or monopod as it's a bit on the heavy side unless you are used to it like Neil is You are welcome to try out any of my lenses if you want yo meet up somewhere at some point ? John
  8. Quality shots Colin
  9. Great work Dale also has some great night shots as well
  10. Arthur - you'll have to come down next time - it's a great day out. Neil/Spooks - I've linked your photos from the comment in my set - hope you don't mind. John
  11. Hi Mark, was good to see you on track again after such a long absence. Car seemed to be going very well also with the recent mods I think I've only got one photo of the Maserati that came out clear enough to identify the car!. I'll upload it shortly. I mentioned to Neil and Spooks that I just couldn't get a decent photo of it, but I believe Spooks got a nice sharp one John
  12. Great photos Neil - I was struggling with either glare from the sun or using high ISOs due to lack of light. I've uploaded a few more of mine now that came out OKish. John
  13. I've uploaded some of my pics that came out OK (hundreds didn't!) here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnsidc/sets...57603291379889/ John
  14. Front page of today's P&J - complete with registration number S729 ERC (it's in the public domain, so little point int trying to hide it!). Looks like a silver STi 4, 4 door saloon with an FMIC with a P1 style front splitter and anthracite PFF7 wheels. It's cetainly not a car that I recognise or have seen around. John
  15. Graham, Not in a position to confirm 100% just yet so let the two slots go to the next in the reserve list John
  16. How many people is the meal voucher for ? On the basis that it's for two people I'll up the bid to £25
  17. Sounds like a stolen car to me!
  18. I've been featured in this article before, but it was quite a few years ago now. Was good fun and spent a couple of hours with the journalist and their (excellent) photographer. Certainly well worth doing if anyone local(ish) is interested ?
  19. I've got the Prodrive ones on my car. Make a noticeable difference to the ride over uneven roads (ie improved it). Noticably less fidgety but they don't lower the car that much, especially at the rear where there isn't a lot of ride heit to play with. Happy to give you a test drive of mine at the next event if you want to see how they feel/compare ? John More full size photos here if you are interested: http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnsidc/sets...57602658478868/
  20. Quality work I must try and take some photos at night at some point.
  21. Looking great
  22. I think that enough's been said on this topic and it's doing no-one any favours and will only cause people to start falling out with each other. John
  23. You can add in a track event at Knockhill next year to the raffle fund as well
