  1. It's the same size as a 3 bed bungalow i put up for a mate seafar99, i'd heard that about the number boxes, but had conflicting stories too. Anybody know whats what with them?
  2. just for you Dunc The flag only lasted 3 days, it wasn't worth the grief from the wife
  3. Aye, fair enough, might put the standard ones back on to complete the look.
  4. Always fancied graphics and i bottled out of the tiger stripes when i had my cossie. Not the most original, but i like. Opinions please
  5. Tesco are doing mcCain southern fried oven chips for £1
  6. Hmm, phoned the 2 dealers closest to me today to get prices for the bumper bar. First one, £108.21 +vat and not sure if i'd get sidc discount on it, he'd need to check. Second, £83.87 +vat and no discount on this part. Doesn't make much sense. Got one off ebay, brand new, £62 delivered to my door
  7. Does anyone have any decent pics of classics with 555 graphics on them?, or point me to a website that does. This type- Thanks Kev
  8. Bumper bar was knackered I'm guessing it'll be a dealer only item?
  9. Very nice indeed Frank. keep the wheels dark (easier for cleaning or not if your like me)
  10. Cheers, that might be easier as i'm taking the lights out anyway,(morrettes need painted to) Christian, no hurry for me to get the car out the booth as i've built one in my garage, sod paying the price i was quoted as a homer, so my mate (who's a paintsprayer) is doing it at mine
  11. Thanks for that Alan, job for the weekend now. I already got the foglights off, just went at the rusted nuts and bolts with a Dremel until they fell out. The car's a 98 btw. Christian, i'm sure it'll be pretty gubbed if the rest is anything to go by
  12. I need to get the front bumper off my classic so i can get some paintwork done. Where do i find the bolts to take it off? i just hope there not like the ones on the splitter and fog lights, rusted solid thanks Kev
  13. Everyone else has been quite eloquent in there replies to you mate, however i doubt you'll figure out what was being said to you. I however shall come down to your level, if you're not happy here then p"ss off, maybe get yourself an xr3i and head over there. I've been a paid up member here for a few years now and have found pretty much everyone i've met either online or face to face at the meets to be a good bunch of people. I choose not to post up very often, prefering to lurk more often, but if i think i've got something worthwhile to say then i will say it. P.S. try using the 2 buttons to the right hand side of the letter M on your keyboard. rant over Kev
  14. i stand corrected, maybe should've posted a pic up of my car before it was jacked up and bent a bit at the back end a couple of weeks ago
  15. i heard on the news they were checking for folk using red diesel
  16. that doesn't look like a proper jacking point, can't you get the stands at the correct points?. You could be risking bending something there.
  17. thats a lovely looking car your missus has there Gordon

  20. Didn't know either, hope all is good in the employment field with you Al, Don't think Subaru have ever been in Dundee, fiskens in forfar would've been the closest but they've given it up too.
  21. good point Gordon, stupid place for a dealership if he puts it out there imo. I was told Richard Lawson had signed up to a dealership, i'll try and find out a location
  22. Just heard today that Subaru are coming to Dundee. Not sure where or when, possibly at auto eccosse in the Ferry. Anybody else heard this?
  23. my apologies, never thought of that.
  24. Did you double check you weren't at the 2 or 3 star pump And it's great being that tall isn't it, you can wash the entire roof of the scoob from one side
