  3. Wouldn't bother me, i've had mine done twice. (6 years of ownership has seen a lot of stonechips) If it's done right you shouldn't be able to tell it's been sprayed.
  4. Very nice chief. I spotted this for sale last week and thought that'll do nicely ,then figured she hates driving my car as it is, never mind having to climb over a cage to get in Jealous? me
  5. Car is looking real nice matey
  6. I spoke to Jim very briefly a couple of weeks ago, he blamed Hazel and her new boyfriend for all this, i thought it was all sorted now though. I can let you know where he works if you like so you can square things up.
  7. I agree
  8. I'll give it a go for you
  9. Have you tried AWD in Perth, i'm sure they'll have them in stock.
  10. Looks like the new Toyota Avensis.
  11. Like this?? And the other side In a classic though so not sure how relevant to a newage this is.
  12. Is 2005 not still blobeye?
  13. It'll be blue if you're a paid up member, green if you've not paid, purple if you're an RO. I think that's the way it is, i went from purple to blue then green in a week Better check when your subscription runs out.
  14. Nice, why the name change though?
  15. Grieves are to far away for me, thanks Cheers Christian, that'd be handy. My brother in law says dingbro have the bits, i just want to double check nothing gets missed before it's started. He's off for a few days next week and it would be a shame not to fully utilise a mechanics abilities on his free time
  16. I've been getting a burning oil smell for a week or two now, so thought i'd better check it out before i caught fire. I've got a bit of a leak coming from both sides at the rocker gaskets, also leaking at the sump area. The sump itself is fairly rusted. I did a bit of searching but i'm not sure which gaskets i'll need? Found this; Washer Part No 13271AA051 Gasket Part No 13270AA040 Half Moons Part No 13293AA030 Coil Pack gasket Part No 11051AA070 This was for an import though and mine's a UK'98. Could anybody let me know what i'll need before we pull the engine to bits Does it come as a kit? I tried asking at my local dealer but they weren't the most useful/polite. Also, i could do with a list of top tips on tackling the job in hand. Thanks Kev
  17. my floor can stay bare concrete then.
  18. Good work Cal, please tell me your garage floor is carpeted and you haven't put it in through the patio doors while the missus was at work.
  19. Could you not make a shelf? surely that would be the cheapest option. Just need some MDF and fabric, then you could cut out speaker holes to suit. I made pods for my classic years ago so i could get my 6x9's to fit.
  20. good point, however he could have saved himself a trip to the paintshop if he'd bought a classic, due to them having a lower front wing line
  21. If you'd bought the classic you were looking at, you wouldn't be having this problem
  22. she can come and cook for me anytime if that's on the menu
  23. I'm using a H&S downpipe and centre section on mine (uk98), which when mated to the scoobysports backbox (made by H&S) i had sounded great, a lovely rip without being to loud. I'm now running a scoobytek backbox which is stupid loud but i like it and i've got the best sounding car as voted by my young lads class mates (9 year olds)
  24. Well done folks
