  1. My old scoob, now to be found touring the Isle of Lewis I believe:
  2. The guy who made the game has recently finished filiming a 6-part series for BBC Scotland that'll be on sometime later in the year - I follow his blog. http://www.limmy.com/blog
  3. I laugh at Dina Lady's face everytime she says "Say hello Tommy" and Tommy says "Hello Tommy!". Dunno why I find it funny, but I do.
  4. My wife has just returned home with a copy of it for me (she was going to "put it by" for xmas - no chance!) so I shall have a wee hour or two on it later once I can get peace.
  5. I don't know if i'm going to bother watching it on 2010. Got properly fed up with it this year, the racing was boring for a good 80% of the time and the off-track stuff was just utter utter b******s of the highest order. Toyota gone, BMW gone, McLaren veto of Red Bull's Merc engine supply for 2010, Bridgestone pulling out after 2010, lots of crappy new teams with crappy drivers who are just going to get in the way of the good guys etc etc. Load of monkey dung. On top of that you've got Kimi (apparently) demanding a fortune when he's got (again apparently) a huge payout from Ferrari in his back pocket. Why anyone would want to employ him anyway is beyond me, it would be obvious to a blind & deaf person that Kimi lacks motivation. Then you've got Heiki, who is also worse than useless, and Trulli too. I deserve a drive in F1 more than Trulli does, and I couldn't drive a pig with a stick. Then you've got Jean Todt, who I predict will only be slightly less of a gimp than MaxM. And a current lack of a British GP next year (not that I give a monkeys to be honest) but when you see the UAE government spent something like 36 billion on the Yas Marina and Britain struggles to knock together a decent pit lane garage complex and associated facilities it's a bad state of affairs. Acht, i'll probably end up watching it anyway. I've just read through this post before submitting and I'm starting to sound like John! Eek!
  6. Got mine from ebuyer - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/160735
  7. Mmm. Can't say I really wanted Vatannen in either. I don't see Todt being any worse than the current eejit but I don't think he'll be any better either. Ah well, at least if the on-track stuff is boring (sometimes) it'll keep the off-track stuff interesting. We've still to see if there is a British GP next year too!
  8. As long as it's not Dougster! Awra best Ally
  9. Well done to Jenson Button and Brawn on their double World Championship today.
  10. I was pleased the BBC kept with the coverage last night during the delay instead of palming it off onto the red button or something. As for the actual qualifying, a rare agreement with Bernie - much better to get the cars out again (even if they had to leave it until this morning) and qualify properly than leave the grid positions as they were when Quali 1 finished. You have to wonder though if there's a bit of skullduggery going on behind the scenes to keep the title race open until the last race. Abu Dhabi wouldn't be as exciting if the drivers and the constructors were already wrapped up. The constructors must be done & dusted now, and although Button CAN wrap up the drivers title today Barrichello can't. I don't actually mind what one of them wins.
  11. Erm, apologies in advance for being a pedantic git, but shouldn't that be BIRD flu?
  12. Looks braw, may I suggest a headlight de-tango though?
  13. Hurting? HURTING? I can barely sit down.
  14. All you gays must be really upset this morning when you heard about your boyzone hero dying. If any of you need to talk it through, try finding someone who cares.
  15. Also sorry to hear this. Did they get into (and damage?) the house for the keys? I really hope whoever stole it dies in agony.
  16. What a great qualifying session! A few offs, some penalties and it keeps both championships interesting (although the constructors looks less likely now for Red Bull since Mark Webber is starting at the back).
  17. Oh aye right enough - D'oh! I just assumed it was lunchtime lights out. Better get out of my pit early then!
  18. Deposit taken according to their website.
  19. If only I was working i'd be through at the seller's door before he shut tonight.
  20. It's going to be difficult to watch/Sky+ everything this Sunday - F1 on BBC1, touring cars on ITV4, Rangers v Celtic on Sky and Chelsea v a***nal on Sky too. I'm going to be welded to the couch from 12 till 6!
  21. I used the one in the Gyle recently and they were fine. Checked the car over with me beforehand, used seat covers and paper floor mats to avoid getting anything dirty and returned the car to me approx. 1.5hrs later in the same condition I gave it to them (apart from the cracked windscreen obviously!)
  22. Nice wheels - it may just be me but the finish looks a bit matt on them? Also, definitely needs lowered a wee touch - the back tyre in particular looks like it might touch the wheel arch though?
