  1. Gus, if you fancy a wee "fondle" of a Canon before making your mind up then feel free to pop up/in/through/round when you've got an hour spare. Andy.
  2. The guy who bought it is called Murdo Gunn and I think he lives/lived up the very top of Lewis, starts with an S and is a big long name, canny mind it now. I've seen a couple of pictures of it on a "cruise stornoway" website a while back, he's put a bigger STi scoop on the bonnet, STI intercooler underneath and he's taken off the Scott Lowe front splitter but apart from that it looks the same. SA03 OBY is the reg. now. He's not a member on here - I think he does (or did) post on Aberdeen Scoobies though. Still miss the auld red shed
  3. Dunno, but he's a member on here so you can send him a PM - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showuser=20842 OR Stevie Whitson 0795 611 9962
  4. You can get the covers from the Subaru dealers, I think they are about £60 for the pair, roughly. You might also want to consider: 1. "De-tango" the front headlights (removing the traingular orange wedges 2. Getting the sideskirts colour-coded 3. Ignore 1 & 2, and just have fun driving it!
  5. Gus, you'd be as well as saying you love Evo's on here - akin to getting a Nikon. Nikons give you aids, the bad kind. Be one of the good guys and get a Canon. Go on, oh go on.
  6. You'll regret it stephen (probably!). I did, and still do. Love your facebook photo by the way - excellent!
  7. Hullo! Think it was me that recommended this place over on PH, nice car but when will the modifying start! Your car looks pretty much standard from what I can see from the pic, apart from the mudflaps.
  8. Nice. Whats that under the front number plate though?
  9. Not quite central but Stevie Walker in Bathgate is very good - 01506 633471.
  10. Whats the difference between the Icelandic volcano and Cheryl Cole? The volcano is still blowing ash!
  11. Spotted you tonight Brian, heading through East Whitburn around 5pm - car looked stunning!
  12. I've used Ally @ 360complete.net before and he's good. He posts on PistonHeads too, if you want to do a search over there on some of the nice machinery he has done for other PH'ers.
  13. Taken this evening by my Mrs on her mobile phone: Somewhat amusing I am sure you will agree.
  14. Already posted twice in the off-topic section.
  15. Another commendation for SL - used him lots of times (been a bit unlucky with door dings) and he always manages to get the dents out. Not too expensive either.
  16. Give Stephen at SL Dent a call about the dent on your wing - he's good. http://www.sldentrepair.co.uk/contact.html
  17. I've been eagerly anticipating the new season, especially with Schui back, Jenson and Hamilton in the same team, Alonso in a Ferrari, no refuelling etc and today's race was boring as hell. Even Martin's grid walk was rubbish. The on-screen graphics were crap too - especially during qualiying. Then there was the problems with the pit radios not being heard for a good bit of the race. Maybe I missed it due to me tuning out because of the dullness, but all I kept hearing was well done Ferrari - not "well done, the only reason you won was because Vettel floundered".
  18. I agree too - the maps are, in some cases, nearly a year old so not the most reliable way of trying to find a car to steal. Are you going to cover the car up when you take it anywhere, cover it up outside your house/work etc?
  19. Red car with white wheels looked ok (well I would say that) so white with red should work too. I genuinely like the red wheels but I don't like them any better than the white wheels - both are equal amounts of smart.
  20. Mmmm. I like the red, but then I like the white. But I don't know what one is best. There's only one way to find out....
  21. Spotted the car tonight Brian at the "hauf loaf" roonaboot - I was a few cars back. Looked braw!
