  1. Great choice - you'll love it Brian
  2. Never scrimp on tyres - it's your only contact with the tarmac and, if you are heading the wrong way fast, you'll wish you'd spent the money! Save the money somewhere else I reckon. Brian
  3. Those wheels on the saxo could be saved - to hit the idiot over the head with! Brian
  4. Could it be the Crispy Duck who's on here?
  5. Yeah - attached to your car!
  6. Thanks - ordered you one too...
  7. I'd go Prodrive, even with the slightly higher ride height. They are good, reliable, and designed for the car. Brian
  8. Who'll be the first SIDC hatch owner to fit this then? Tasty Brian
  9. He could do a meet somewhere like SHowcase, Coatbridge I'd imagine
  10. No idea, Seen it quite a few times over the years. Brian
  11. West Lothian - the rep through here is good. Just thinking he could attend a meet and sell some gear Brian.
  12. I've been there and I'[d weigh in a couple of things you'd lose if you sell: (1) The depreciation you'll be hit with (2) The money you'll spend buying a new one and getting it to the same standard (3) Work out the true cost of the fuel economy difference, as well as road tax & insurance (4) Think of what you'll miss about the car and whether the small additional cost per year (especially on low-ish miles) is worth what you gain (5) ABSOLUTELY consider buying an older car and running that 2/3rds of the time...the cost of this will be the same as the saving on the scoob likely - also been there on that one several times with Impreza's. Brian
  13. Mmmm...where about/what area? Brian
  14. Get a 500ml or 1 litre Tardis from eBay - you'll never need 5 litres unless doing a LOT of cars... Brian
  15. If you are an SIDC member, try Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels Insurance - they'll try hard to get you a good price and are excellent with modifications. You'll see them advertised in banner adverts or Gary's direct number in the members section. Brian.
  16. I didn't state which local/national laws we're talking here...
  17. Always WELL within all legal limits and local/national laws Brian.
  18. I think the Prodrive/Subaru association is at an end pretty much.. Eventually I think we'll buy a CPP - Cosworth Performance Pack or a Subaru one... In saying that all my Prodrive bits are ordered and due for delivery on Wednesday to the dealer... Brian
  19. Use methylated spirit or turps/white spirit if it's that greasy - it will strip any grease or wax. BUT keep it away from your paint or plastics. Brian
  20. Sad Day Melly. Total waste of time. Make sure you post this info on the thread on Scoobynet... The right car is out there - will be worth the wait. Brian
