  1. Things I've noticed are: It has black plastic trim on a lot of the inside where it is gunmetal in mine... The WRX Badge is on the back again (hatches don't) It does not say IMPREZA anywhere... It has the 330S door opening system It has the common US option BBS wheels It says Type UK on it...
  2. Aeriel on mine was swapped out for a Perrin one, which looks tidier. And the hatch has a rear wiper And it's a FINE looking car
  3. I'd imagine sitting on the options list at £880 + VAT + Paint + fitting!
  4. Hi all, First I have seen in the flesh - looks good and quite chunky overall. It is sitting resplendant and clean at Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk - might be worth a wander over for a look (Hope they don't mind me posting the pics) Quite a few white STI's which is nice to see (including a couple of 330S). Brian
  5. Absolute classic! This one is short but stupid:
  6. Any Impreza owner needs to careful to protect the reputation of the car if they want to enjoy it. Not all owners speed and not all owners drive an Impreza as if on track when on the road. I don't think anyone here is saying the issue here is because they may be a ScottishScoobies.net member - the general public does not care, nor does the person injured or killed by an idiotic driver. There is also no need to class all members on here as "full of numptys" or "anal retentive". It's a bit unfair! Brian.
  7. No! Any idea when Whitburn is due to reopen - looks miles away at the moment...?
  8. And Shell Whitburn shut for nearly 2 months so far and Edinburgh Road Glasgow is closed too. Good ole Tesco 99 it is then
  9. Spotted parked up near Whitburn Cross Brian
  10. The ECU is removed from the car and mapped by Prodrive at Prodrive now to take account of the info stored on it about the car already. Refitted with a new exhaust (different CAT and resonator removed). That's it
  11. Welcome along Tony You know my thoughts already Grey one here: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/show...;highlight=330S
  12. Revloution are very good, run Subaru staff & Demo cars and service is excellent. Postage can be pricey but fixed for lots of stuff. Brian
  13. The other thing is it still has the standard stereo, probably still has no electrically heated door mirrors like the standard STI and there is no mention of much work to the gearbox (e.g. a quickshift etc). And how annoyed would you be when you drove your £50k car away from the showroom and the interior was rattling lol Brian
  14. My car with PPP, Prodrive Springs, STI 18's, quickshift etc cost a LOT less than that - I don't doubt it's a superb car BUT there is just no way to justify the £22,500 price hike over standard, even if exclusive. Mine is plenty quick and looks visually very similar without the colour, and a few exterior/interior shiny bits! A Euro import with Recaro's etc and then £5k work is a brilliant buy. Brian
  15. Hybrid Impreza, if done well would be good. Lexus GS460 Hybrid is incredibly good on the power for a big car. Seamless and smooth.
  16. Good to hear it's getting sorted. Nobles will do a good job. Interesting badge on the boot in the last picture... Brian
  17. Looking good and nice to see some hatches in there
  18. I've found Pagids to be good in the past or Ferrodo DS2500's. Brian
  19. I use mine daily for everything - it will rack up at least 15k a year...so that's quite a lot in fuel - on the plus side the reliability offsets the fuel costs. Not massively worse than many other cars really if driven normally... Brian
