  1. JKPDetail - based in West Lothian but will travel all over. Done my car last weekend. Very reasonable and many times Scoob and Evo owner. JKPDetail Brian
  2. Excellent - very good reference guide for everyone. Thanks to you (and Paul for the original write up). Now saved for posterity Now let's see everyone throw out those sponges and buy a second bucket! Brian
  3. Spotted you heading away from the Garrion Bridge saturday night about 6:15 - 27th Feb. I was going the other way in the red hatch :-) Brian.
  4. Hypertech in Bonnyridge or Ian Grieve in Falkirk - closer probably that AWD. Or Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn. Brian
  5. Well done Glyn for keeping going with this.
  6. Oh yes... My Autosol Metal Polish, Verry Berry Wheel Cleaner (with bottle and pump) arrived today. Just waiting for the bits and bobs I've ordered to start on my transit waxed engine bay I think folk thought I was crazy when rinsing my car down last night in the snow but can't have it too dirty... Brian.
  7. Where is that? Seems a bit pricey. Brian.
  8. Pretty sure they are different ratings etc...
  9. Here's a couple of random shots taken on my new Samsung NV10, which will take me a while to figure out what I'm doing! Brian
  10. Nice spec for a "nearly standard" car
  11. Prodrive springs were good when I had them on my 03 and just about to get them fitted on the hatch when they are in stock. Brian
  12. Detango looks great. I'd like to change the indicator bulbs in the hatch light to silver ones but it's a beast of a job getting the lights out etc... Brian
  13. Hi Paul, Not 100% sure what pads John used but eventually gave up on the Rotary and done the work with the DA, slower but less of a problem after trying lots of combinations of pads etc. There is a thread on www.detailingworld.co.uk with similar issues - black 330S although another with a white car had fewer issues. Brian
  14. Not sure it's a good idea from past reading and forum experience as it can cause a range of problems such as bore wash etc and other things I don't understand. I think also people get fed up with the sound of a bus stopping pretty quickly...I got a decent amount of extra noise from upgrading my recirc to a Forge recirc on my classic. I am sure someone will come along shortly and explain... B.
  15. Nice to see he merged effectively into the flow of traffic as per the highway code Brian
  16. Cheers Always keep on top of my cars - they are rinsed often and foamed at least a few times a week in this weather. Managed to get through an entire tub of Swissol Samurai and Poorboys Natty's Blue Paste Wax alongside others on my last car Will be well looked after - hence it being machined so early in it's life - would have been done from new had I been able to get it in earlier. Brian
  17. Well I can thoroughly recommend John as he'll do you an excellent honest job at a good price and will only do what needs done (ie if thee are things you can do yourself, he'll leave them for you to do). Brian
  18. Always 2BM with 2 washmitts very carefully done, after being rinsed and foamed and rinsed again etc. The marks were on it from new. Mudflaps are a definite too as it's picking up stone chips a plenty!
  19. Yeah - the rotary was having none of it on the paint (usual sticky, easily marred paint). The DA was the one to solve it but slower. Brian
  20. The standard wheels are now cleaned, sealed and stored in the garage ready for some winter tyres Those are STI Lusteric's - 18s. MUCH better than the standard wheels. Brian
  21. Must admit nothing has ever had that "edible" smell as much as Swissol/Swissvax Samurai
