  1. Welcome m8 I am along the way in Elgin. Have a look in 'EVENTS' for our next meet if you want to come along for a chat.
  2. Now you have been bitten it is the right time to let you know that there is no antidote to this bug. What a shame [][]
  3. You'll need more than a goat at this time of year.
  4. I believe the rear drop links are plastic which will flex replacind with metal ones will be an improvement. The front droplinks are double balljoints I replaced the ones on my bugeye with solid droplinks and there was a slight increase in road noise (thats why there is a volume button on the stereo). ALK is a good idea I also fitted powerflex front lower arm bushes just after fitting the ALK. Reading threads on here what seems to be the way to do it is change the rear for an adjustable and play with that before changiong the front if required. Unfortunatly had not seen that before I got front and rear ARB, ALK and a few bushes from AWD Motorsport open day earlier this year. All I've got to do is work out how to refit the lower strut brace. Enjoy steve
  5. Good on you WUZ show the pro's [] what it is all about.
  6. Bugeye STi with; GEMS, APS 3" exhaust with APs sports cat, K&N bodged induction kit, APs dual port dump valve, Samco blue round the engine bay, Tein Flex with EDFC, Front and rear upper strut braces Lower front strut brace Whiteline ALK, F&R ARB Powerflex bush on lower arms Goodridge brake hoses bled with silicon fluid. RR at Japerformance at the SIDC session 362bhp at the flywheel. Not up to Craig's level but it will do for now
  7. I hope you have not just finished eating when you look at this. ROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!![+o(][+o(] http://bbs.scoobynet.com/wedding-year-t542548.html
  8. Like a lot of people on here I have not had the pleasure of meeting you or having work done on my car by you. I am glad to hear that you are not downing tools and as Craig said put the finger to all that deserve it. I am looking forward to the next SIDC shootout at Japerformance to see the improvement in Craigs car from the last RR I attended there.
  9. In the tank. On mine (bugeye) you get to it through a panel in the boot floor back right hand corner as you look in. Access is made easier by removing the back seat aswell
  10. [] Oops, lucky you found it today. Not when you would be blasting round Crail.
  11. Sorry to hear that it has come to this. Having looked through threads on this site a lot of people hold you in high esteem. It is a shame that people cry wolf and cause this type of occurance. Best of luck in your future ventures.
  12. The shed with a tracker ??? You telling the whole story or are you keeping us in the dark Dale. I will be watching[]!!!
  13. When I was at the SIDC RR at Japerformance recently Simon was having the tyres inflated to 42psi. When you were at Dastek were the tyres pressures adjusted in a similar manor. I ask because the rolling resistance of the tyre will be affected by the tyre pressure. also Simon commented at the end of the RR session that you can make the figures to what ever you want by altering the correction factors used by the computer. Surely this could also alter the transmission loses too, if my thinking is right then this would explain why the transmission lose at Dastek was 30bhp and at Japerformance 70 bhp.
  14. I would say it is more to do with your car now breathing easier low down so the pickup is a bit sharper and as the speed increases, the gearing gets higher and the laws of physics due to aerodynamics come in. the feeling of rate of acceleration seems to reduce. I hate to think what my car would be like if the acceleration at higher speeds was as quick as the acceleration in lower gears. Would love to experience it.
  15. Going to be in a group on your own then Dale???
  16. Great vid m8. Personally I like the sound of the scooby music maybe tone down the backing track in future? It's a shame Dastek is so far from me otherwise I would have come down myself. Then to top it off my car is off the road for a week with a bust coil pack [:'(][:'(].
  17. Did not know the gent but sorry to hear as everyone says the Subaru world is one big family.[:'(]
  18. Does not sound like Australia most probably a hell of a lot closer.[^o)][^o)]
  19. After this comment my car will be carpet bombed. But it's been twelve hours and not a spot someone must have taught the F'ers to fly upside down or they watched the red arrows last night.
  20. As title says the stopwatch is now running to see how long it will be before a seagull bombs my now clean car. Three hours with the PC, Mer and wax, looks good for now (no pictures at the moment). Lets see how long the clock runs for.
