  1. I enjoy driving mine either sensibly or doing a de-coke run.
  2. Save your money m8 and just get plastered. You missed a good run out yesterday. I am finished in MTMS in acouple of days so unfortunatly my old suspension has gone. When you back up here?
  3. If neede I am up for a spur of the moment meet to discuss options. I touch goats
  4. Brilliant work m8. Need to look at fitting a mount for a video camera in my car for the runs out.
  5. I agree with Irish Al the hella's are great or you could get a set of air horns. Take a feed from the standard horn (leave OE horns connected) to the relay for the compressor. That way you don't give OAP's a heart attack but if a bint cuts you up they get a shock when the air horns come in. Make it easy to pull the fuse for the air horns come MOT time as duel tone are not liked.
  6. where in the members section? Had a look can't find it. Steve
  7. In general it is a smmother run for the exhaust gases from the engine to the turbo, due to smooth bore pipe being used instead of the cast standard item. which can be rough and stepped at each joint causing turblance and wasting energy that can be put to better use via the turbo. That is unless the headres have had a meeting with Harvey and been ported and polished which give similar results to a set of tubular headers, from what I have seen on here
  8. Definatly wish I had known that earlier. Think I spent a good few hours trying different methods, but got there eventually.
  9. Not sure yet as I was concentraiting on the road. Not being able to use it for a week and having to dry out the thermal wrap required a hard run out. will try to listen on the next run,
  10. Am getting a bit fed up with being bounced out of my seat as the Tein Flex try's to keep the 360 brake in contact with the tarmac.
  11. Here are the pic's quality a bit low due to using phone camera and rushing to get it fitted http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image022.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image021-1.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image020.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image019.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image018.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image017.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e281/360ste/Image016.jpg. Fitting was okay, a couple of snags towards the end. As you can see fromthe pictures it has a 3 bolt flange to connect to the up-pipe, getting the top bolt in was a swine as everything was bolted tight. I would say that if fitting one yourself don't tighten eveything as you go along just put the nuts on the bolts/studs to hold in place and still allow some articulation. Apart from that the Roger Clarke Motorsport manifold is well made and the fitting kit is excellent. I would highly recommend this manifold. Just hope it last's longer than the last one. [][][][][][]
  12. Glad I didn't miss this just put my order in looking forward to the next run out.
  13. Just got my new set of tubular headers from Roger Clarke Motorsport, the quality is top notch a lot better than the set that fractured on my last week on the way back from a Inverness run. Will try to post some pics of before, during and fitted. This will be done on Saturday hopefully as I have yet to thermal wrap prior to fitting. Bring on sunday when I can settle them in. [][][][]
  14. Pity my exhaust manifold is F'ed. [:'(][:'(]
  15. Excellent trip out, enjoyed trying to keep your tail lights in view scooby 222, which made for some spirited driving. I just wish the drive back to Elgin had been as good, blasting back trying to keep Dale behind me all of a sudden my car had a case of the farts. Checked it out tonight and the manifold had split just before the joint to the link pipe, oops. A mate in work said no problem we can arc it, unfortunatly with only one mask he had to do three things at once so when re-fitting the flange did not quite match. Upon further investigation further stress cracks were found in the manifold so my car is off the road until a suitable replacement is found.; Sooner the better Steve. [:'(] where is the smiloey for P'd off?
  16. Modified ,mmmmm. Certified I think. [][]
  17. What you trying to say? Thought that would have been more if going with Dale when he had the Shed.
  18. Looks good Craig. Which Teins did you get, I fitted Tein Flex to mine which you saw at Japerformance and have no problems with speed bumps even the square ones in middle of the road. The only problem I have is multi-story carparks if I don't put the EDFC on full hard, as otherwise the exhaust will catch on the lip of the ramp. so just take slow while you find where to go and where not to go.
  19. No problem. just to warn you the suspension is quite hard. It sounds like we are leaving the carpark going for a drive then back to the pub near Tesco's for food. See you there m8 Steve
  20. Nice one Dale. Might be working on Al's car Monday night so if you want to get it up in the air (if ramps are free) let me know. RIP the Shed.
  21. If I am there you are welcome to join me for the trip out. Steve, Bugeye with Front Mounted InterCooler (FMIC)
