  1. Just a thought, does it happen when you have put the handbrake on. (you do know what that is[])? As it uses a different set of brakes than the footbrake, so has a tendancy to rock back slightly. Just like a landrover.
  2. give me a shout when you are back in work. I still have the old shocks off mine. Can trial fit to see if your are F'd. Takes about two hours.
  3. There is a thread in events for this. Do you prefer the 20th by chance dale?
  4. 20 days to go and counting[][]. How many are coming along? 1. 360ste 2. bigal
  5. A bit different to the crop circles you hear about.
  6. When I got nicked for speeding had to go to the guys cop shop. Finding it was a pig (no pun) as it was in a tiny village just in the hills. when I got there he came out to greet me, shook my hand and appologised for getting me to travel to his station, offered me a cyp coffee and biscuit or a cold (soft) drink. Paid up my £35 fine and left after showing him round the car. Following day put her on a boat back to the UK. Could you imagine the coffee budget if the police in the uk treated people in this manner.
  7. Lived out there for 3 years. Can you be more specific in the questions. Limassol is a great location to stay in Cyprus as it is almost central to the Island. You can follow a route East from Limassol to Nicosia (the last divided city in europe), via the duel carriageway. Then from Nicosia parrallel to the green line whic seperates the Greek half of Cyprus from the Turkish half, through to the Troudos mountains this is along normal roads and can be good fun you pass a couple of Cypriate army camps. Stop for a cold drink in the village of Troudos or circle round the side of the mountain and return to Limassol. Approx 250 miles and can easily be done in half a day including 2-3 hours in Nicosia. Then there is the route west through to Paphos via Aphrodites rock, up to coral bay, through to Latchi and Polis then back to Paphos for a meal the return to Limassol for a beer or 3. Paphos has got one (if not the) best go-kart track on the island. Directions would be vague if I typed them out but if needed I could dig out a map and work it out accuratly if needed. Am out there in October for two weeks can't wait to see what has changed. Pity I wont be able to take the scoob as it is now 100bhp higher than when I bought it there and has Tein suspension all round ([:'(][:'(][:'(]). Just enjoy and have fun. BUT be warned the police even though they don't have the ideal pursuit cars I have been reliable informed that the new head of police is ex uk and has taken steps to make it easier for action to be taken against motorists breaking the laws out there. Thank F he wasn't there when I was as I got stopped umpteen times for speeding and only got fined once. Thankfully not for my monthly run round the mph clock.
  8. still fiddling at the moment. am looking at getting all the rear bushes from powerflex to fit then at least there will be no give in the system. As far as the ARB's are concerned I have got the whiteline 22mm adjustable front and rear with the ALK, front and rear upper strut brace. Had to take the lower one off to fit the ALK but have worked out to refit it (hopefully) as it does not feel as tight without it. So will keep playin around for now
  9. Would be cheaper down Edinburgh way 99.9p a litre for Optimax not £1.08 as it was when I drove down to the F&M show. See you all on the 16th
  10. Would this mean I have some fuel left after the run? Last time I misplaced 3/4 of a tank between 7pm and 11pm when I got home.
  11. You can only try the other mirror and see what happens. It was probably to hot at f&m to do the job neatly and it would probably be better to have wet the mirror first to allow a bit of movement just as if you are doing the sunstrip on the windscreen. Best of luck m8 and let's see the pictures when it's finished. Steve
  12. That's good for me and BigAl. See you all there Steve.
  13. What happened to the ring round the stars on your mirror? Is it a pig to get correct? Should get mine done in the next week or two.
  14. Wondered why it seemed that the temperature has gone up. Please take my coat off. Excellent work m8[][] I think I best have a otherwise I will look like a [W].
  15. Hey Spooks are you calling me MAD? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . COMPLETELY BARKING MAD YES!!!!
  16. Just watched the bit about braking and tyre tread depth, I can see their point but the price of tyres best come down as there will be a greater turnround if they go for 3mm tread depth.
  17. Nice day out, good to see some new Subura enthusiasts and be able to put faces to usernames. I will keep an eye on the events section and if anything decent is displayed I will try to get down again. The only downside to today was after the show when I went to fill up, pulled into shell and Optimax was 99.9p a litre. Up here in (RIP-OFF) Elgin it's £1.08.9 a litre. I think I will fiut a 45 gallon drum in the boot for the next event. See you in the future Steve.
  18. I have put it on my calendar. Also Bigal should be there too. BRING IT ON[Y][Y]
  19. Got Tein Flex on mine with the EDFC. They are a bit harsh but I am used to it now and with the whiteline front & rear Anti-Roll bars is a nice setup. Will have to see what I buy at the F & M Show.
  20. No good having high boost if the engine has blown up the first time you get the foot down. There is a lot of experience on here take note of what is said someone will probably have done similar and paid the price.
