your car should have a shielded ecu m8 if its 2002. i'm sure the guy with the electrical supplies place up the back of there has radio masts attached to the building,your also not far away from both the police station and the fire station there,again these masts play havoc. £70odd quid gets you the shielding from Subaru and cure the problem happening again Gav

yep UK300 had the option of the WR sport pack,ppp.If my memory serves me correctly,£24995 for a standard car and £1600 for the PPP fitted including VAT. Shows how car prices havn't increased by much over the years. Gav

You are quite correct in what you say,but,in 2001 the UK300 was produced with 245ps(board on board chipset)241bhp,from 2001 X plated cars until Sept 2002 these cars were all 245ps,from then on most were 265ps using the updated ecutek technology,as this car is a Sept 2002 onwards car i would take that it was the latter pack,but you never know. If it is the 245ps pack its no wonder that the car doesnt feel as sharp as even a standard classic. Gav

a 52 plate car with PPP has 265ps/261bhp,delete second cat,stainless rear section and ecutec remap under licence by prodrive,a generik map done on a random developement car then regenerated onto all the PPP ecu's.
