have you heard any steering rack noises?that wearnt there before. Strange with the bridgestones,i have experienced this both on my own sti and many others i have driven,especially when the outer shoulder of the tyre wears thin on the nearside front. Gav

uneven tyre wear,Colin has hit it on the head and bridgestones seem to be the worst for it. Gav

can remember someone coming into the garage that had had this problem,they used an engineering company to skim the calipers for clearance,didnt seem to have any problems with them after having it done either. Gav

you were more than lucky,in the current market place that is a totally unreal p/x value,but well done. The car books at £4750@60k Cap Clean & £5575@70k Glass's Guide there suggested retail is £8125 and £8025. I am selling a 55 plate wagon with ppp for £9995 with half that mileage. Unfortunately the market conditions dictate values,everything is relative,if new car prices are falling then p/ex values will also be driven down. Gav

Clearly they wouldnt have a leg to stand on in court,if they havn't measured decibels and taken into account the time of day,the car still has the cats on so is still DOT roadside compliant,i would very much doubt if they could make this stick. The H&S exhaust isn't that loud,wouldn't think that it is much louder than the 330s in fairness. Gav

20k or 2 years,not a major service,the 30k is.The car isn't 2 years old until march 09(or 20k whichever sooner)this is when it would be due its service therefore wouldnt have been done prior to purchase. Gav
