Everyone, in a fit of bravery I said to Ally that I'd flex my typewriter skills and write an article about the Santa Cruise for True Grip. I think you'll all agree that we raised money as a country and not just individual regions and we all deserve a big pat on the back, so I was intending on covering everything that happened over the last two weekends. If Ally, Paul and Scott could PM me with facts and figures about what happened in their own regions santa cruises. Also Craig let me know about your thing up there, and I'll use the article as another good way to announce that Aberdeen will be doing a 2007 one. One thing to note is that putting it on the rollers will tell you how it's running, but there will be no tweaking involved in that. You'd need to firstly have an ECU that allows for any sort of tweaking such as the 99 onwards standard ECU with an ECUTEK reflash or a replacement like the Apexi Power FC, GEMS, Motec etc. Then you'd have to get someone who is able to map that particular ECU to do it for you. Dastek in Dalgety bay are huge friends of the club so well worth going to see them.

Was there possibly a fix for cramming the remote under the wheel arch? Or perhaps wrapping your head in tinfoil, spinning round 3 times whilst singing "I was a male stripper in a go go bar"?

Last year a policeman was done at 130 odd in a Vectra on the motorway using evidence from the car's own video recorder. Think he was initially convicted then it was quashed, can't remember where it stands now. Was this new one caught whilst conducting official duties? I know if I ever need the police to come to my help I want them to be able to travel at speed.
