About bryan_taylor

  1. Very cool kits and info there guys! I think the carbon is OTT, but that same style of kit painted the same as the rest of the car (obsidian black metallic) would look farcking awsome - leave out the roof nonsense, the bonnet clips, decals and that trully would make a mean looking Scooby. Further to that I'd debadge it and stick as big and fat a set of split rims (anthracite) on it as I could.....Drool..... Get the suspension sorted after that and then I think I'm done. under 5 secs 0-60 is what I already have with 320bhp and 330Lb/ft torque - I reckon thats quick enough. Think I'd like to concentrate more on the look and handling of the car, plus - with it being almost new - I'm not going to **** up the warranty by doing anything daft to the engine (I learned the hard way with my last 03 STi). Thanks again for the info guys, any further comments or more info appreciated - I just need someone to trust with getting the parts and fitting them for me now - any ideas on who is the best local to Aberdeen? Cheers Bry
  2. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post your opinions and comments guys - most appreciated. I've seen the light and I'm going to stick with my current motor - AND SPEND 9G'S ON MAKING IT A FARCKIN MEAN MACHINE - lol Thanks to Russ for the chat and good advice[H] You know what I'd really love to do? And I don't think anyone has done it yet....But I'd seriously love to make a black version of the most current rally car - i.e. the widened arches, cool bonnet and rear spoiler, big phat low front end. Anyone know if a kit is available? Just imagine all all black, sleek version of the current rally car, debadged, no decals, no silly bits (roof scoops) - how absolutely mean and cool would that look? Perhaps shod with some 10" or 11" wide 19" black alloys......Mmmmm....TASTY! I've had a look on the web to see if there's anyone offering a good replica kit - but can't find bugger all [] Any info appreciated Thanks again all Bry
  3. Thanks for the comments guys [] [H] I'm still serious about getting the RB320 however, cos it will have amongst other things:- 1) Virtually no miles on it 2) Black leather RB interior 3) Pucka prodrive developed suspension 3) Those tasty black alloys 4) And above all - it'll be quite rare and a real headturner[Y] So with my blatant disregard to any common sense, what would be a fair trade-in price for my motor? Are T&C sadly quite correct with their offer, or should they be coughing up a better deal? Thanks again Bry
  4. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k129/bry...pg?t=1165995841 I'm thinking of trading in the black beast for the new RB320.... Bought new in Jun/Jul. all fitted when new - PPP + Prodrive lowering kit + PFF7 18" alloys + mudflaps + front splitted + Prodrive gear "nob" + tinted windaes 9,500 miles, absolutely as new Whaddya reckon a fair trade-in price is? T&C are telling me £9k to change come march, which I think is similar to a sharp kick in the nuts in terms of how my car has depreciated in light of spending just over 31 'G's on it..... Opinions and nuggets of useful info appreciated. Cheers Bry
  5. Sweet clean mean machine, but no that keen on the decals, they kind of chav it a bit, but other than that it's a lurvely piece of motoring
  6. This guy is definately suffering from a problem relating to the "level of intellect and taste to available cash ratio" methinks it could be due to a number of issues..... A) 5 numbers and the bonus came up, but the winnings were sub £5k - instead of adding a conservatory to his council house he decided on some new sleek car mods to impress the Scooby community... He deals W33d and can't put the cash in the bank, or the plod will be on to him and his Giro will be stopped. C) He sells quality Burberry tartan caps, jackets and the like at the Barra's/Ingleston, and his 5 zillion other chav mates girlfriends have beczme pregant with their 4th/5th children and needed to buy more clothes for their new infants, thus the resulting boom in sales have netted him enough to make another pathetic mod. I hate these people and I sincerely wish God would come down from heaven and wipe turds like him off the face of the planet (yes, excerpt from Bill Hicks rant) Just ma twa bauwbs worth...but I hate these c*nts!
  7. I have to say, I thought it was just my imagination till I read this thread - looks like my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. The needle is definately taking longer to go down!
  8. Me motor is black and I'm in aberdeen = Black and sheep, but the clincher is the fact that I'm the blacksheep 'o' my faimly - and therefore - Theblacksheep seemed relevant in all the right ways. Total B0ll0x innit Guv! Bry
  9. You've waited MORE than 3 times what it would reasonably take - get on the phone and give them a boll0cking!![] Bry
  10. No other mods yet mate. Mods in the future will be induction kit, full decat with up/down pipes, larger turbo, FMIC etc. £5k - 400bhp plus methinks. The PPP exhaust sounds OK on my motor, but I'd like something that sounds that little bit deeper to let the flat four burble out! Bry
  11. Mine are as you see them on the photo AC!D, called "Bright Flitter" the colour from Prodrive. The gun metal also looks lurvly tho. Whatever one of the colours you choose the car is gonna look very nice - good luck on the decision! Bry
  12. Even better AC!D [][][H][Y] http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k129/bry...r/acid-chop.jpg This looks way cool - I chopped the wheels off my car to show you - looks minted IMHO. Bry
  13. I reckon the "Bright Flitter" colour of the PFF7's on yer motor would look well sweet mate. Black would be too dark seeing as the car itself is a dark colour. Gold is always nice on the scoobs, but to give it the mean look (which is what I'm guessing you want) the PFF7's in the Bright Flitter would be awsome. Here's a photo of them on mine if someone wants to chop it. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k129/bry...or/Scooby03.jpg
