  1. Good work man! When you passed me outside the chippie in Carluke the car was sounding and looking the part.
  2. Sure fai17's got some Marc. He'll be along when the KT shuts for the night
  3. Andy, Grant says he'll take the drag supra, and i'll take the top secret R34.
  4. Fuzzy - for me it comes down to why spend all the money on the mods then skimp on what's controlling all of it? A custom remap unlocks the full potential of your car and doesn't leave anything to chance.
  5. Piggy back chip fools the ECU into thinking that certain things are happening that aren't, and then passes on information to other parts that the ECU isn't sending! The chip has also been designed with one specific set of mods in mind, so unless you're running EXACTLY what it was designed for then you never know if it's running 100% or not. By getting a custom remap on either a standard ECU or a replacement one you'll know that what's being done is tailored for your car. You get the most performance, reliability and safety. It's the best of everything!
  6. http://www.7tune.com/?p=117 I'm sure when Grant reads it too he'll maybe pass out. That S15 with the Vertex lang kit on it floats my boat. Pop an RB26DETT in there for some drifto fun. I'd give it two corners before I'd be dead.
  7. Dale I should have the stock one from my car kicking around. I'm sure some of the boys up there with new ages that have replaced the headunits will have them too and they'll be much closer by.
  8. Get well soon mate. Kidneys aren't a great area for things to go wrong. My brother and I have both had kidney stones - his much worse than mine and requiring an operation. I know mine was bloody painful though and anything down that region is never comfortable.
  9. Lol, I just meant that the wives could be convinced of a £3K tell showing up by telling them it's what the kids needed for healthy development!
  10. Chaps, Costco in Glasgow had a 67" DLP in stock on Saturday when I was in. Very tasty. Just what your respective babies need surely?
  11. I completely agree with the post Craig, and the sentiments of others like it - just that people saying "it wasn't me" wasn't really needed!
  12. I don't think this work is a reflection of the quality of Greers work - there's certainly a lot of shining examples of it out there. Some of which I have driven or indeed dribbled over. They'll be getting a call though, don't worry about that.
  13. Well my car went to Milngavie on Friday to get the faulty bearing replaced under warranty. Whilst in there they found excess wear on another part and although it caused a delay until Monday it got replaced too. Whilst the car was over I asked Halleys to look at my gearbox problem as an act of goodwill after the previous service I had from them that wasn't too my liking. They did and found some bolts weren't tight, a spring missing and some sort of tag not in the right place. They've all been righted and although I can't be 100% sure about the 'box I'd like to think my troubles with it are now over. I've not been able to replicate the issue I was having with it 2 weeks ago, but I couldn't replicate it last week before the car had been looked at by anyone. Time will tell I suppose. The service manager over there really helped me out with getting the first bit done under warranty and also looking at the box for no charge. I'm not satisfied bolts were loose on the gearbox though - but that's a whole other kettle of fish for a different garage.
  14. Rearrange the boys! I've nearly laughed myself stupid there. Peter, I'm looking forward to a wee pax run too. The question is though - what's next? A nice wee set of AST coilovers might just finish it off very nicely.
  15. I've not been in stirling for a couple of months, nor do I own a WR1. Should I also post that it wasn't me?
  16. The thing talked about never went ahead. Locations couldn't be found. RAF Machrihanish would be perfect if it wasn't used to store all the aliens.
  17. Andy - I'm so jealous mate. What's the cheeky number hiding behind the truck?
  18. Knowing Grant if Dale gave him that part number and date of manufacturer he could tell you the name, address and phone number of the Japanese man who made it, so Dale could phone across to Japan and get advice from the guy himself!
  19. Saw the vid, but yet to experience the car. I drove it in its last guise and it was certainly very entertaining. BANG! And the lag is gone.
  20. After that - who's the one that can actually use a fast car to its potential, or more importantly can use a slower car to keep up with a faster one?

  22. I've got to say that the Eagle F1s I have on my car have been nothing short of amazing. Grip, road noise, wear - all fantastic. I use them summer or winter with much success.
  23. lol, I give this thread at best half an hour before your inbox is full Mr F! If you ever fancy trying your hand at motec or anything else you've never tried then I'll put my name forward in advance!
  24. Hmmm, VF34 only that price? Would need injectors too ...... next year for me perhaps.
  25. I read this topic and a little part of me dies. Do we give Yorkhill toys for the wards like last year, or do we give some terminally ill children a little slice of happiness? Either way we're going to do a lot of good. I don't really care where the money ends up if I'm going to be brutally honest. I just wish that we could all get along and remember why the **** we're doing this in the first place. Please, think of the children but don't act like them.
