  1. Kenny, that sounds almost spot on as to what my mate said to me now that you've written it. He didn't do the repair himself though, but it was the ribbon that had gone.
  2. Jamie, what unit is it? I had a (I think) 971R Minidisc unit in my ol' Vectra. It was a 2001 Vintage and it was top stuff. The flappy foldy mechanism failed about 3 months after I sold the car to my mate. He got the problem fixed in Glasgow I think, but it wasnae cheap from what I remember, maybe £50. If you fail in Perth let me know and I'll get in touch with him and see how he did fix it.
  3. Oh yeah, sorry they're really crap. Don't even put nuts on them and sit the car on axle stands at night. Grant, I'll give you a shout about a completely unrelated visit to east calder.
  4. Ah Gumball. Always alert to a business opportunity. I'll remember and drop you into conversation at my new job.
  5. Hmm. Not sure. Those are 6 spokes I've listed. Maybe they're older ones that aren't available just now.
  6. If they are, and I think they might well be, then I am one very VERY jealous boy. I'm guessing LE37T in gunmetal with diamond cut rim Having said that, not available in 16" as far as I know. The 17" ones are priced in a region that has reduced people to tears.
  7. Can someone readjust whatever the hell they readjust to make it sticky-icky-icky like Snoop Dogg likes.
  8. Volk wheels - Made by a Japanese Company called Ray's Engineering. You're talking £200+ per corner on even the most basic wheels. What makes people foam at the mouth for them is usually the weight and the quality. All of the Volk rims are, to the best of my knowledge, 1 piece or 2 piece forged rims. Some of them are magnesium too. This means they are extremely light and extremely strong. As we all know - cutting down the weight of the rolling mass (wheels, tyres, brake discs) is very very good indeed. If you look at who turns to Rays for their wheels then it shows their quality I think - STI, Nismo, TRD, Ralliart, Mazda Speed. Thank you. Stephen - a man with a fetish for high quality Japanese wheels.
  9. Some fine Gucci bits on the car mate. Sounds like a great spec. Enjoy the club.
  10. I had a 128K. It was the business. Had to cram a bit of lego in the DC input to make it work though.
  11. Don't phone Tracker then Des! Phone RAC Trackstar. 2 different products.
  12. Not a thing Peter.
  13. Did you say you were SIDC?
  14. That's down right low Andy. How are we supposed to be able to avoid them now? Y'know, move aside when we see them coming, let them out at junctions etc.
  15. Quality kit. Dodgy mobile phone recording of mine in action.
  16. The guy also owns I think a 2003 Spec Ferrari Formula 1 car that he bought off the team for a cool squillion dollars or there abouts. Fifth gear followed him over when he went to buy it and drive it round Fiorano. Legend.
  17. He's stole that idea from Smash My Viper Who borrowed some of his idea from the Million Dollar Homepage guy.

  19. Weeb, it works tremendous on the Halfords backed Integra Type Rs in the BTCC Big Number 01 on the side of that. Getting in and out through the windows (that's no happening for me is it lads?). Confederate flag - I wouldn't personally. You could maybe put a Scottish Flag on top, but I'd probably just leave it blank.
  20. Did someone get a new toy bit of software to play with?
  21. Edit: Damnit, they've removed that image or something.
  22. Are you subtely telling me you've already seen this Wilky?
  23. Mmmm. Hemi. There's been some very nice General Lee painted new Chargers. I've got a model of the General Lee ontop of my telly too. About a foot long maybe. £10 well spent.
  24. great story, and it still runs it seems.
  25. That orange isn't nearly strong enough.
