I have first hand experience of the point Cal is making, whilst 280 BHP in a Subaru may seem mediocre these days by far the biggest advantage in having a quick car is the driver him/her self. Do I think Cal is a stig = would not know, do I think im a stig = no. I have had the opportunity to have been in the pax seat in may car whist been driven by an ex rally driver and through a section of B roads and I can say that the road was covered at approx 35% quicker than I could ever manage. So, before going for an extra 4.238 BHP at £200 I think ill concentrate on driving.
Peter, I like your car, I like the brakes, I like the power. The delivery is good throughout the rev range although you only seemd to use 5-7.5k revs[]
